HYDRO Not sure what I did or didn't do

That's what I've read and tried to keep it in that range. I was using a pH pen but ran out of the calibration solution and the liquid pH test was cheaper than the replacement solution. I see the test this morning as being around 5.6-5.7 or at least that's how I would read it for a fish tank. Am I reading it wrong? Should I adjust pH?

D.A.A.S.69 I'm not sure what I'm seeing is or isn't nute burn. I'm getting rust colored spots on my lower leaves and it's like the top layer of the leaf is peeling off like a sunburn and leaving the veins and the lower half of the leaf.. I'll get a closer picture of it asap.

I've used regular milk to calibrate my meters, when I ain't got nothin else, it always is 6.5-6.6ph,
PH rises in hydro I think, I ain't sure though,
You should be fine ,if you keep it between 5.5-6.5.
Pretty sure someone might say milk is bad on ph meters, lol, but I only used it on my cheaper meters, not the BlueLabs one. But it ain't never hurt my cheap meters, either

I read 32 for veg, but that was on Amazons website. I would think lower. Just based on my experience with the Mars hydro 1200. Yes, at 3 weeks you are in veg now.

No cal-mag because we have an insane amount of calcium in our water. I am using FloraMicro, FloraGro, and Hydroguard. I have FloraBloom as well but I was under the impression im not supposed to dose with Bloom until I switch to flowering.

Shock

I see you mentioned using distilled water for top ups, but no mention of a Cal-mag additive.

I use RO In DWC, part of the deal means using a calcium/magnesium additive (GH CALiMAGic, I'm using the flora trio)
https://www.growweedeasy.com/ro-water

I understood that distilled water was bad for hydro (it is so pure, it actually strips the plant)

From RQS:
https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-calcium-deficiency-in-cannabis-plants-n602
Neutral mediums & hydro: Calcium problems are far more likely when variables in nutrients and the grow environment aren't buffered by active soil. Most water contains calcium, so little is added to commercial nutrient solutions. If a deficiency develops:
Make a mixture of one teaspoon hydrated lime to four litres of water and water in.
Use a commercial calcium booster or liquid lime.

If your water is 150ppm (EC 0.3), then there is little risk of calcium deficiency. Using unmodified ROor distilled water can strip calcium from plants. Before making a nutrient solution, add two parts calcium to one part magnesium to the water until the ppm reading is at least 150-200 (EC 0.3-0.4).

To me, your pH looks low (it could be the picture, and my eyes).

I started with the cheap pH strips (litmus paper), then used the chemicals (like what you are using) until I could justify a $20 pH pen. Eventually I invested in a $120 pen. Worth it's weight in gold.

My pH balancing/juggling act
Mix my nutes up
PH balance (aim for 5.9-6.1) - only go in 1 direction (don't mix pH up and pH down)
Check reservoirs daily,
if I need a top up, I decide based on the readings (if ppm is high, add treated RO to bring it back down, if ppm is low, add nutes to bring it back up) I will pH balance the top up water, before adding it - trying to keep the reservoir between 5.5 and 6.5 (aiming for the sweet spot 5.9 -6.1)
The sweet spot doesn't last long, if I actually hit it.

Res change, 7-10 days, unless I really screwed the pooch and need to flush

I have gone to 14-16 days, but the reservoir smelled 'less than fresh' 😁 at the end

That's with anything you add, not just calcium,
Our tap has plenty of calcium, but i still use 2-3ml, of cal-mag, every watering, .
Sounds like you just like to argue, or contradict to me.

That might be true for soil and coco. But we are talking DWC. Sorry if you don’t like it, but these are the facts. You can overdo calcium with this application. Don’t shoot the messenger bro. Has nothing to do with you personally. I would correct anyone making claims like that. Don’t take this so seriously man. We are all friends here. ✌️

All the lower leaves are doing this. This one is the most severe. Starting to see the same symptoms in the healthy plant. D.A.A.S.69

Shock, sorry ,been in the woods.
I told you I don't know anything about hydro at all.
If you think everything is getting worse, you need to flush ,like i mentioned earlier, is all i can tell you. But you say that you have already done that a few times
so what the heck.
Feeding 1teaspoon a gallon, when it calls for 5teaspoons a gallon ,didn't help anything either.
If everything is like you say you shouldn't be having problems,
That's why I grow in soil, you don't have problems like yours.
Your water or something is bad, if your ph is right. Tap water should have enough cal-Mag in it, but Do You know how much is in it.? Adding a little Cal-Mag ain't gonna hurt nothin like I said earlier, that's probably your problem ,if you ask me, if it's not all i know to tell you is you need to flush.
And start with fresh water, an nutes.
Have you got a ppm or ec meter ?
I'm sure LurkingInTheGrass, knows more about hydro than I do.
I don't understand using 2different waters, either,
Read Nebulas articles on how to flush, if it keeps getting worse, if the cal-Mag doesn't help.

Thank you for you help. I am just at loss as the leaf symptoms don't really look like any one particular issue. I know you don't grow hydro, I was just asking in your experience if you had seen anything similar. You have been great and quick to respond. D.A.A.S.69 I'll keep you in mind when I decide to try soil.

Toker1 I was only dosing Flora Micro&Grow and only at roughly 1/5 of the feeding guideline on the bottle. I only added nutes when doing a water change and not when topping off. When I did the change yesterday, I added nutes at 3 tsp/5gallon. The recommended amount was 5 tsp/5 gallon. When they wake up I will do another change and add the Bloom.
Do you know what type of deficiency could cause it?
On GWE diagnosis it looks like it could be calcium, magnesium, or manganese or a combination but nothing really explains the bleaching/peeling.
The rust spots go all the way down to the cotyledon.
