CFL lights no longer being sold in U.S.A.

Now that cfl lights are no longer being made or sold in the u.s. and don't have the means for larger lighting what would be the next best thing ?

LED light bulbs are a much better choice for the outdated CFL technology, whether you want to just give growing your own a try or you're looking for small lamps to get a seedling started. Cut the top off the globe to make a more directional beam.

Just using plain jane led bulbs are a step up.

I still find them in certain stores. Stock up.

Thanks Chefbjy for the link. I didn't know about this until this post. I'm thinking of switching to T5 for sprout and veg, guess I'll do it sooner than later.

Yeah they have been slowly dwindling off of the shelves. I've seen great veg results with t-5s.

Yeah a lot of folks on here use them and say they work well, It will be easier moving 1 light also.

I was looking at a t5 fixture at the hardware store thinking about that today. Seems so much easier than clamp lights.
