I have a defiant girl on my hands. No mater what I do, she won't bend over. Just look at how twisted the stem is from trying to LST. I think I waited a little too long before I started. The stem was already starting to get woody. I just wanted you all to see this.

A note: GWE recommends if I remember right do LST after feed/ water..branches more pliable.
would agree you started late ( in my opinion) but she is a mighty woman indeed and great pic.

Great looking!!!! I'm sorry she won't bend tho! I've taken 2 markers and squees and roll them where i want to bend the stawk. Break up the woodyness and then put fingers to suport the baxk side of the bend and other hand pull her down!! Fingers keep her from snapping! Works well for me. Lovely work tho best of luck

Man I'm glad you brought this up...how is the growth on that stem above it....more dense... tighter nodes....maybe...

I ask this...cause years earlier when I was single and grew I had tons of time to spend in my garden. I started a experiment to see if I twisted my branches almost to the point of mush to form a type of knuckle if you will if that would have any benefit .....like the stress would cause the plant to super feed it while it recovered hoping for more nodes to form while it super fed and slowed down a bit.

I only did it a few times and it seemed to make the buds denser...that all.....could of been in my head tho....I was always trying new things to stress them out....

So that's why I asked...lol
Just curious....Thanks king....looking good

hi bud, it might be too late to do anything with the lower part of that tree, lol. But i would remove all the lower stems to wont produce any good buds.
ya know,, it might make a good Bonsai.
but for sure thats one hell of a great looking stem.

Looks like it has three nodes on that one versus the one next to it only two...Looks denser as well...what do you think....

Looking dynamite man

Yes but still once you bent it over it broke the dominance...I would think anyway...big difference...you can see the swelling then boom boom boom .....node node node....subjective...
