How's my setup look/first grow report

My seeds just came in and are now in rapid rooter inside a germination station.

Here is my tent setup the tent is 3X3X5 600W LED light and 650 CFM multi speed fan exhausted outside.

Any tips would be much appreciated.

Howdy Formernuke, Nice looking set up. The best advice that I can give to You is, keep the water cool (65°-70° F), keep it well aerated, keep the air circulating, and talk nicely to the plants (lol on the talking, but good vibes never hurt!).
      Good luck with Your grow.

Nice setup, you obviously did your homework first!

I've read Nebula's tutorial several times, I did a couple slight modifications to the bubble setup she had. 5 pots instead of six and the standpipe level indicator.

That doesn't look like a Gorilla tent.

Good looking set up. I am a little concerned your level indicator will grow algae.

I thought about that but figured with level going down and weekly full changes it might not, if it does hey the totes are only 4 bucks

I bought a kit to make a level indicator, it was a piece of transparent-blue tubing connected to a barbed elbow, sticking through the side of the bucket near the bottom. It was like the level indicator on a large coffee percolator. The tubing being blue prevented any algae growth in the tube.

No signs of life yet. I dunked the rapid rooter in water prior to placing it in the germination station and I've added water to the tray once in the last three days. The rapid rotors are still pretty wet. Did I over do the water?

Possibly. If so, shake it off. You can do this. I like to squeeze my rapid rooter out so it's wet, but just 1 or 2 drops drip out when you squeeze gently. Like your getting a sponge to wipe a counter top.

Also, keep them warm, but not too warm. They don't need light until they are sprouted, but you can use a CFL or incandescent bulb for gentle warmth.

Sometimes the seed takes a week or more. If you can't take it anymore and have to peek, you might carefully split the rooter open like a hotdog buns. But if it's not ded yet, you may kill it by peeking.

            Good luck!

Hey, I used Rapid Rooters for my soil grow and had a seed sprout after two weeks in my germination tray. I had kept it under an incandescent bulb like Dingus said. Good luck!

Nice looking setup. Make sure those net pots sit flush. You might want to get a roll of reflective tape and cover the lid. I would add a 90* elbow on the intake side of your exhaust fan. It'll serve as a light trap and direct what little heat the LEDs give off. Can't tell from the photo but if your tent flap opens from one side youll want to move the clip fan. I was constantly knocking mine off or it would come off when I zipped up the tent.

So after 2 weeks no signs of life.

I started 2 new seeds this time I placed the rapid rooter in warm water to soak, wring them out by squeezing them and then placed in a germination station with a small piece of rapid rooter covering the whole for the seed.

Anything else I can or should do?
