Does anyone think I need to flush? I have someone on Facebook recommending a 6 gal flush then a feed with 3 gal and a light dose of nutrients.

Yes. I would flush it but first I'd get a decent pH meter that I could rely on (Apera pH60) and a decent EC meter (blue truncheon) and start again on what your feeding it.

I’m watering it daily now about 1000ml. If I have to flush, do I really need to flush with 6 gallons? My pot would turn into a mud bowl!

The purpose of the flush is to clear out what is in your medium so you can start again fresh.

A good and proper flush should have the plant looking pretty hung over.

Then feed it a measured dose (EC) of properly pH'ed nute mix.

Let me first say that flushing should only be done when you have no other alternative. No, you can't flush nutrient from a plant. You can reduce the amounts of fertilizers in the soil and plant by just giving it water the last few weeks to taper down the percentage of nutrient in the soil and plant but you cannot physically remove nutrient from your plant by drowning it.

Sorry if I sound a-holish but broscience gets me riled up.

That being said, I would leave flushing as a last resort and work on the correct diagnosis for the situation.

First thing I'm noticing from your pictures is lower leaf growth looks good and the tacoing and tip and edge browning seems to be mostly the top leaves. New growth also looks like it's coming in healthy.

Looks to me like your lighting is too close or bright for the plants or you had them too close at one time. I could say Mag deficient as that is common for LED grows but your lower leaves are healthy for the most part.

Do you have a way to measure how much photon energy is being rained down on your plants? I use an app called Tent Buddy. It allows me a rough measure of the amount of light energy I'm giving my plants.

These plants were recovering pretty well from heat stress after a heatwave two weeks ago, left for two-three days and now are yellowing slightly and wilting. My guess is under-hydration, anyone have a different opinion?

They were planted directly in the final medium (coco) so they'll need the outer ring rehydrating as well, if anyone has a good resource for how to do that I'd appreciate a link.

Edit: forgot to mention, middle plant is a week behind the other two because of a failed seed

Water the ENTIRE media so that your plants stay hydrated longer.

Mitzi , Did you put the beans in the coco when it was dry then water around the seedling? The coco needs to be hydrated and buffered before you grow in it. I buffer with calmag at 10ml/gallon water and pH adjust as needed for the first hydration. Add the solution gradually as the pot is filled with the coco. Generally at the rate of 1G solution / 3G coco. After that you wont have to water for a while, let it start to dry out a little but don't let it completely dry out. Potential issues I see now are hydration, pH, and calcium. I like to start seedlings in solo cups before placing in final pot. Also consider labeling the handle of the pot with tape or similar. Your labels on the floor most assuredly will wander off before you are done.

I water an area the size of my hand and put my seed in coco after an hour or so. I water that way until I get a good sprout going then water a little more outward as the plant gets older. A downside might be getting floaters if I water too fast when they are still seeds. A slow water helps keep them down.
No buffering, no flushing and I do not always water to runoff. Fertilizer when my first serrated fan leaves appear. Y'all have seen my grows. I do not ask too many questions, whatever y'all think about my grows.
Like you, Mitzi we just went through a little heatwave and high humidity. Keeping fans going is a heap of help. One plant got a little stressed but has since recovered.

I dont think they are under hydrated. The yellowing you refer to just looks like new growth, light green to me, which is pretty normal.

I wouldnt increase hydration until your plant grows more and gets more leaves.

Will you be training and or topping those (both highly recommended)?

Two reason.
one because the leaves started getting nutrient burn curling after I accidentally gave them a 1 tsp - 1 gallon water nute mix and so I've been giving them.
Two because I thought I was getting close to harvest time

They look nutrient deprived, but that is the point of flushing is it not? If harvest is imminent then you are on track.
