now folks I'd like your input on positioning of extra lights to get the most efficient eyeball frying light display possible in my grow. I'd consider vertical hanging of the leds for example as they're flat.
canopy is 10x5
existing lights are two led1200w and one lec315.
each light coverage area is 5x5'. I'm not afraid of using them all, 17amps total so I'm good!!! (But the cfls have to go)

thats sorta what I'm doing except with 3 LEDs where I said LEC and two HPSs where I said LED. All in a 4x8 tent.

I just poked my head in there, lights at 20" for now and the girls look so freaking happy!!! And hmmm yeah got a little brighter in there, and gals and boys, if your leaves are droopy and ph, nutes, temps, rh are good and you're free of pests, ADD MORE LIGHTS, seriously, light is food, food is light, light is weed, weed is the light! Simple.

That's pretty trippy, man. I absolutely have to see your cave in person. I'm constantly scanning the calendar for the next time biz takes me up to your neck of our woods. You play? So I walked in tonight to find my girls were parched in the flower room. Bone dry soil. Knuckle tested. Tester confirmed. They've been clockwork every 5 days watering since in the bags. Those extra 2 lecs soaked 2 days worth of water in less than 20 hrs! I hope it's only an adjustment period, or I'll be at it 3 times a week!!!

Hey oldjar, yeah man I really enjoy the scrog but it's no picnic keeping up with it, I'm growing a bunch of uprights outdoors this summer to get a little scrog relief. But I think I'm finally getting the concept of it. It's very interesting to have to treat 8 plants as 1 massive beast. Every tuck and pull affects half a dozen plants and twice as many branches. One wrong zip tie and you're at it reweaving last nights work..I do get in a major zone working this thing...enough rambling bedtime!

Holy crap 3 days in between watering seem the new norm here, last was Wednesday, just walked in, pots are light, top soil is dry, WTF!!! The untold added cost of lec maybe...😂

They do but I had them too close again, 15", upper leaves all droopy and crap, shopguy suggested moving them to 24", been dark since I did that, waiting to see.
