What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

In long flowering plants, how many weeks of growth should be given indoors?
I am planting the Cachalote, a variant of the Moby Dick, and I have read here that in flowering the plant triples its size.
I normally give them 2 weeks of growth. Should I give them less time in this type of strains? Is one week of growth from germination enough?

You may need to train it well and even top it a couple of times but I'd go as long as you can in veg to fill your space.

I agree with Bluey. Veg time depends on the size of your tent/grow space and what your end goal is. Stretch(the tripling part) can be controlled by keeping the temp humidity levels the same or slightly higher on lights off as they were on lights on. I did this on my current grow and can confirm that, at least for this cultivar, warm nights will keep your plants from stretching out of control. Obviously there are limits to this and other techniques but it can be done.

Yes i rubbed a magic lamp and wished for gardenier genie to do all the work for me. At first shehe was abit reluctant but with much crying and whining on my part genie wore down. Now i get everything done for me instead of me working for knowledge and experience doing it on my own and trying , now it's all being handed to me. 1st time grower here. Seedlings are stretched out do to my light being to high. Is there a fix?

Build up the medium gently around your seedling, give it more light, and ensure a light breeze

New grower here. My BIGGEST questions come as an outdoor grower using homemade compost (leaves, fruits and veggies, non-inked paper, and lots of BUGS AND WORMS!) and potting soil mix at a1:2 ratio, using 5 gallon grow bags. I grow from seed. While I have had about 5 plants come to maturity, even letting 1 go through a life cycle without harvesting, I NEVER have buds that look like the nugs that I have seen here, and I don't see many posts that don't include some sort of extra chemical process. I have started some over the winter and they're sprouted, so maybe I could get some advice or guidance on doing something different this time.

My previously cured babies do come out decent, offering me a mellow high, but I know I have much to learn.

Full sun for big plants and flowers.
Blood and bone in your compost for calcium & PK
Manure
Ensure the compost is properly composted..so 6 months or more and monitor it and ensure good moisture levels so it doesn't stall.
Watch the leaves on your plants for problems, they will speak to you.
Try and get your compost pretty neutral to marginally acidic re pH.
Suppliment with a composted tea later in its life cycle if required...likely it will need additional N as it stretches.

I'm about to transfer my seedlings into some 30 gallon hemp bags and see how they do. If they do better, I'm gonna switch to some bigger ones. And I have decreased my compost ratio drastically because they kept getting burns on the leaves, lessening as I put less of my compost in it.

Hi everyone, I am starting my first grow soon and I was planning on following Nebula's watering schedule for the "Just Add Water Super Soil Organic Grow".

For those unfamiliar with it, Nebula used the following schedule below for 5 gallon pots, and I have been searching around to see if there's a way to convert it into a schedule for 10 gallon pots as I don't think it's as simple as multiplying it times 2 (please correct me if I'm wrong).

• Day 1 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant (you should have done that in the above step when you installed your seedlings)
• Day 3 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant
• Day 6 – Give 2 cups (500ml) water per plant
• Day 8 – Give 3 cups (750ml) water per plant (every 3 days after this)
• Day 11 – Give 3 cups (750ml) water per plant
• Day 14 – Give 4 cups (1 liter) water per plant
• Day 17 – Give 4 cups (1 liter) water per plant
• Day 20 – Give 5 cups (1.25 liter) water per plant
• Day 23 – Give 6 cups (1.5 liter) water per plant
• Day 26 – Give 6 cups (1.5 liter) water per plant
• Day 29 – Give 8 cups or 1/2 gallon (2 liter) water per plant
• Continue giving 1/2 gallon (2 liters) per plant every 3 days. You may need to give more at a time or more often as plants get bigger. If you ever get any significant runoff out the bottom, it means you should be giving less water at a time. If plants get droopy before being watered, you should give more water at a time, or water more often.

I know the schedule will differ a bit for everyone based on their setup etc, but I think having a rough sample like the one above would definitely be useful as I will also be using Nature's living soil.

I read that plants in bigger pots need to be watered less frequently because they retain water for a longer period of time. Does that also mean we have to give more water at a time?
I wouldnt want to gamble and overwater my plants because the runoff would carry away nutrients in the bottom 1/3rd of the medium.

10 gal pots will need more water less often, or that's how I did it.

Use black plastic pots not air or fabric pots as black plastic will be more consistent with environmental variables.

If you're growing autos 5 gal will be fine, so will photoperiods if you only veg for 3 or 4 weeks. You will probably fill a 4x4 tent space with 4 plants and using the above as a guide.
