Kerdo, under the right circumstances, you should see your buds swell significantly in the final 3 weeks. https://www.growweedeasy.com/cannabi...ering-week-6-8Anyone can grow schwag. If you want to grow top shelf bud, study hard: https://www.growweedeasy.com

Lol....’thanks man’ in response to two women😂.
On Amazon they sell a 60X loop that clamps to your iPhone or iPad that works really well. Watch the color of your trichomes and they’ll tell you when it’s time. We all have different views of when. Me personally I like around 50/50 between amber and cloudy before harvest. Looking at your tent shows this isn’t your first ballgame. I’m just saying that the 50/50 gives you a nice smooth hit and is still very strong on thc content. Once your trichomes get to 30-40% go ahead and do a molasses or brown sugar flush for the last week. This will also make for a nice smooth hit.
🙏🏼✌🏻

You have done good for anyone much less a first grow if it is your first grow. Most strains will add the most weight in the last few weeks. If those buds double in size you are going to have very happy new year.

When I first started to grow pot. I used a pamphlet that was Mary Jane's pot growing guide. It was published in the 60's or 70's. It said that if your plants have a even number of points it is a male plant. Females have odd number of points. Do you know if that is true?

If a plant will naturally grow to 6 ft tall, will it grow 6 ft horizontally when bent over?
When simply bending a plant over in No-Technique Plant Training without topping and without staking the branches out to the sides, How high can I expect the side branches to grow in relation to the original plant height?
Will they be closer to half the height of the plant or will they stretch to nearer the original height? Will they turn straight up to form little trees of their own that need to be pruned or trained or will they stay shorter and simply form tall colas that need to be staked and supported?
This is for an outdoor garden that I am planning for this spring. I have a discreet protected garden space where I can to tie the plants down and let them stretch out across the lawn in full sun, but I'd prefer to not have them too tall, and I have seeds for Durban Poison and Diesel. two tall sativas, as well as White Widow and a Northern Lights Shiva blend.
thanks, Ken

I may wind up pinching the tops on the sativas. The main top if it gets really too long and the side branches if they take off quickly or I simply want them to fill out with more colas, but the intention right now is just to bend the plants over towards the south, the sun and downhill without any pruning and let the side branches grow up with the oldest branches being tallest.
?? If I bend my plant over and pin it to the ground at the nodes, will it create additional roots from there?

NebulaHaze Here’s my question.. in your example grow(wonder women under a 600w mh/hps) you got 351g off of one plant.. and I thought that was wonderful and more then I could ever hope for.. but I looked on seedsman and they claim the average weight could be between 450-550 m2 I believe do you think they are exaggerating or do you think something could have been done differently?

In the article the tent is 4'x4' and just over a m2 but the grow could have been done in a 3'x3' which is smaller than 1 m2. The total harvest was 646 grams so the breeders estimates are not out of line but a beginner in soil with mediocre lighting is generally not going to come close. That was a high performance hydro grow by an experienced grower.

I’m asking mainly in reference.. because the journal I may post next.. the lighting is 1200w led with dwc hydroponics.. single topping with lst.. in a 4.5/4.5 Mylar (grow tent replica) oscillating fan.. fox farm nutes and hydro guard.. strain Black berry kush and 1-95 with bbk suppose to be around 450 and i95 suppose to be up to 400... I also have some amnisia white rhino and blue dream and thc bomb 450,350, 500 550 respectively I have caramelicious too but can’t find quantity info.. on that one.. all thc level around the 20-25 range I know these are all under perfect conditions I’m just trying to figure out.. my next step..
Kinda a copy cat of nebulas.. I get a lot of starting ideas from this forum.. I’ve been a farmer for a bit now

Well the amounts they post are always in a sea of green. So they have alot of plants in the amount of space. I can say that over 1000g can be done in a 4x4. I exceed that sometimes but I use a 1000watt hps/mh and another 424 actual watts at the end of flower. But I grow far more plants than probably anyone here. But that is in cbd plants. 600 grams per 4x4 is possible for everyone. Just takes practice and loving and treating your plants like a pet.

adrimal yes you need shade that is way to hot for young plants if those are fabric pots sure you could bury them but need shade for intense sun.Smoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet

If you need to purchase soil... look at Nature’s Living Soil on Amazon or Kind Soil.com. They are prepared and ready to mix with your coco media....READ the instructions carefully, I found them a tad confusing but I use nothing but these days

kind soil is fantastic, a bit pricey for me but the stuff is great

I’ve learned that lesson when there were 6 using 7 gallon bags. You’re absolutely right and it’s not like anyone is saving a load of money on nutes as that’s maybe 1/2 the cost difference But the convenience of using only water is ...... stressless

Got a bit of an odd ball question. I'll doing some painting in the room that my closet grow in it. I've already got my wooden shelf sanded down and a fresh coat of semi-gloss white on it. She looks good. I'm gonna re-prime the closet with some mold resistant primer and some fresh flat white, and I've got some trim to do around the room as well. Which brings me to my topic. Did this all out in the shop, because of the sanding and tools.
My question is how long can I expect to keep my plants out of my grow closet? I'll be leaving heat and fans on during and after painting. It's all beauty tone interior latex, nothing fancy, all water friendly stuff. I figure a couple days wouldn't hurt? I've done lots of rooms and stuff before and I figure it takes a couple days for the odor to wear off, I figure if it no longer bugs my nose, it shouldn't bug the plants? I've only got some small vegging plants and seedlings at the moment, nothing flowering.
