What is your biggest question about growing cannabis?

I’m going to try the ocean forest for the first time on my winter grow. I’ve mixed my own all my life. I was told through my bro that it’ll stand alone and I wouldn’t even have to use the tri-mix. Only thing I add on my regular soil is calmag, terpinator, and molasses through the whole grow indoors. Outdoors, I’ll add bloom during the last couple months. Guess we’ll both find out right Mr. Potatohead?

This is my first time growing my own weed, plants look great and are in large pots on porch, my question is, reading all I can on growing and harvesting, I see that everyone is saying to cut stalk down to harvest buds and dry, then cure, what if I want to continue with plant growth eventually raising a tree, I live in a part of the US that has 9 months of growing season and mild winters, what's wrong with using plants for multiple harvesting seasons ????

Hardbody I know what you mean about pain. I’m a C6-7 quadriplegic, but have full use of arms. I deal with a ton of pain every day and night. It’s been 15 years and multiple surgeries, but I still refuse to take anything for pain other than $1 patches you get at the dollar store. I've always wondered: Why does it screw up an Indoor grow when flowering and the in the Dark Time, if a single speck on light gets to your plant, it won't flower but what about Outdoor grows? Why doesn't the MOON affect the Flowering?

Do any of you know if a plant with root rot should be removed from flower tent ? Even if its still surviving? Will the smell effect
other plants,?

I had a old autoflower I just harvested that had root rot in a 3gal fabric pot never dried out for 2wks no kidding. I just left it sit outdoors on a porch do to smell. I took what bud looked good and tossed the rest. If you want bad O2 gases I guess you could let it go, but I think fungus/bacteria mold could effect indoor tent??

It won't affect other plants: it's not contageous if your plants are in pots; or are you hydroponic? I've dealt with hydro root rot.

Get yourself a nice scope from amazon or a eyeloop. I got my 60X scope w light that attaches to phone or iPad for like $14. First off your pistols will get darker. They’re still young in that pic. Use your scope and wait till the trichomes are around 50% amber and 50% cloudy, then do a sugar or molasses flush for another week, then harvest.

Hardbody I use molasses during my entire grow, but especially on my outdoor grow I’d do my flush with molasses or sugar. It gets sucked up by the roots and helps take the harshness out of the smoke, makes it smoother. Your curing process is really important too to make a smooth hit. You don’t cough smoking my smoke, super smooth. I cure a minimum of 2 months before letting it go. I’m still getting it down myself. Some of the guys I know are masters of curing, but they’re doing multiple pounds at a time. You’re gonna love that scope! Most of us are on ‘the great auto showdown’ if you wanna stop by. I think we’re on page 84 now...lol. Me and my buddy started it last year for a competition between like 15 of us. A ton of great reading on our techniques, etc. Spend a day or so reading from the beginning.

Realistically there are several media that can produce successful gardens. It’s now an option going with personal preference. Sticking with the word Soil my indicate things like Fox Farm Ocean Forrest, Fox Farmall Happy Frog. Kind super soil, nature’s’ living soil -super soil, and a list that only gets bigger. You won’t go wrong but there are rules to follow while using these components . The super soilsfor example are used on the bottom of the pot with a coco mix placed above them on top. The fox farm soils can be mixed directly in to pots but need no nutrients for the first 2-3 weeks. The super soils never need nutrients and re only watered with plain proper pH water only.

the there are soilless mediums like coco coir . It also has it requirements for buffering and daily feeding to know in advance.

Hi, yes and no. Yes but it will still be on the same time clock as its mother eg it will flower same time so there is limited time to grow it. If your auto is say a 3 month grow time and u clone a piece at month 1 you will have 2 months left to grow clone.

I’m growing in a new state where they have chloramines in the water supply that can’t be gassed off. What do you advise that I do if I’m not willing to purchase an RO filter. This is a small 5 plant grow. What will happen if I use water with chloramines? Will it damage my plants?

I have read that chloramine will evaporate in tap water. One way to expedite the process might be to fill a 5 gallon bucket and keep turning the surface of the water using an air stone. Here at my house I use an UV light inline of the water system to kill any bacteria and the manual does say that UV light exposure will remove chloramine. But Alltatup has no problem and her plants always look FANTASTIC! Maybe it’s the chloramine !😂
