    Finally !!

    Off to a bad start this yr.
    Mice got my first seedlings. Since using essence oils haven't seen any more signs of them.
    Weather; up and down
    Germination; I use heating mat. In water 2-3 days and some crack, put in paper towel till I see root starting, into fresh seed mix. Nothing.
    Try again
    Finally got 4;
    4-1: unknown
    4-4: unknown
    4-11:unknown
    4-15:Early Frost
    Still trying for a couple more, no store seeds left.

    I feel ya. I am my own worst enemy when it comes to germination. It seems like I have tried every way to sprout a MJ seed that is known to man. I was doing pretty good by soaking for 24 hours and then into a bud cup but then had a run of seeds dying in the cup. I saw Cannakan while doom scrolling. It uses a heat mat and convection. Kinda like the paper towel method but a little different. First time using it was a 100% success.

      Things are looking up. 2 more sprouted today. Fat Face auto & Scarlet Sunset {G2F}
      I'm thinking that the up & down temps 40's-70's have been my main germination problem. Even with heat mat and small heaters I haven't been able to keep a good constant Temp.
      Finally getting warmer temperatures. I'll use a germination box next time.

            Also try adding 1/3 H202 hydrogen peroxide 3-3.5 % to your seed soak water and pour that over your paper towel.
            Won’t help with he temps but helps germination and protect against pathogens on the PT especially if it get warm with the mat

          Thanks all for your suggestions, but at my age this is just a low budget grow. I keep everything simple, nothing fancy or technical. I have plenty to keep me happy .
