Jars vs Grove bags for curing ?

I’m sure this has been posted before..what’s the latest?

I was leary of the groove bags at first but gave them a try and was really impressed. I split a harvest between the bags and jars for a 60 day cure. After 60 days I compared the two and couldn't tell the difference, nobody else could either. So im sold. Burping jars is a pain in the ass and I usually forget about it at least a couple times a cure so im definitely sold on the groove bags.

Thank you Orggrwr. I’m fairly new to this in my third grow. Haven’t tried jars as I was introduced to the bags when I got started. Seemed would be much easier for me and they have worked out well. Only do a few plants but not remembering and able to burp daily would be a problem for me. Only con for me is the plastic seems to cling on to the good stuff. Just wondering if I would have a noticable difference in quality.

I'm intrigued. I tried Groves bags recently and had a bad experience. I had issues with determining when to put the weed into the bag. I bought a moisture meter and still got it wrong.

I’ve been seeing a lot of people rave about them but I haven’t tried them out myself yet

I’ve used them a fair bit now over a couple years, here’s my take.
I think they work more or less as promised, I’ve only tried one harvest where I used them exclusively without burping but it worked okay. I have used a them more post cure for long term storage. They are easy to use, and not having tonnes of heavy breakable jars around is a plus.
After using them, a couple things make them not right for me.
First, I’m finding the “zipper” fails pretty quickly on the bags making them pretty useless, and I’m not into the plastic waste or buying more all the time.
Second, they say they hold the flower at 55-62% for me this is always at the 55% end and I want my long term storage at 62%. 55% is a nice smoke but it’s not hard to dry it a bit more it’s hard to rehydrate flower. Adding to this point the old trick of spritzing some water in the container to add moisture like we do on the lid of a glass jar doesn’t work, as the bag just lets it out so your stuck at whatever it wants. I don’t like a bag telling me how dry my weed should be 😆

If I need more moisture I throw in a couple of green leaves in the continer and that bringd the moisture up
