    Cloning

Can you take a cloning branch from a Female plant that has entered the flowering stage? I know taking a clone from a plant in the vegative stage is best, but I don't want to clone a male plant and I don;t know what a plant is until it starts to bud. I don't care which is the fast way to to root a clone, I just want to be sure it is a female.

Yes but you would have to re-veg it unless you want one short fat bud.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Or take your clone in veg and leave the mother in veg, flower the clone as soon as it’s rooted and it will show sex. Then take more clones or cull the mother if it’s male. Slow process but it works
