    Weed Seed

    Public service announcement:

Beginning 11.12.26: seeds from parent plants containing more than 3 percent THC will (once again) be illegal in the United States. Good luck getting your elected representatives to listen to you. Their track record isn’t that great. If you don’t care … carry on. If you do NOW is the time to speak up and let your voices be heard!

My purpose was not to promote seedsman: hence the photo/screen grab and not posted text with links, but rather to make you aware that seed distribution and production companies are well aware of the situation and ARE including links with their e-mails to customers to organizations such as NORML (who make contacting your representative quick and easy). I am sure that most cannabis growers in the US are well aware of new policy which is NOT a rumor and HAS already been passed into law. We are just waiting on the implementation phase to begin. Contrary to what the note from Seedsman says things do begin to change before a year, it starts rolling out 90 days from passage with full enforcement by 11.12.26 THIS IS NOT the normal process for legislation to be passed but the bill IS funded HAS been made law is NOT up for a vote and was only one of two (or three ?) riders attached to the agreement to re-open the government. These ryders were funded for the entire year with this agreement, even though we could only agree to fund the govt for more than 3 months - go figure. It's a done deal, but how loudly we yell may determine how it gets implemented.

Though I'm not currently an 'active' member of GWE - this site ROCKS and everyone has a right to know and make up their own mind what to do or not to do.

What is illegal to who, where, why, and how?
After some research, this bill is about hemp, not our beloved marijuana. All the other bills still in congress are about marijuana. I think it's just redefining what hemp is against what marijuana is and how it should be sold. Another step in ending federal prohibition.
There are several other bills in congress that make weed more legal, not less. That 'Last Black Friday' bit is sensational to get people to buy more and write their congressmen. Get the fires going. Advertising.
We buy, use, and grow dope, not hemp. Dope ain't hemp and ain't considered as such. Marijuana is heavily regulated. Hemp, not so much. This bill is defining what hemp is vs what marijuana is. If I can extract THC from unregulated hemp, even in small quantities, I jump straight through the loopholes without even touching the sides.
To make weed illegal again would be a great bounty for cartels. It would close businesses and create unemployment. The jails would fill back up. Remember all that shit? I seriously doubt the feds are going to re-illegalize marijuana in any form. This is about defining what hemp is. Without regulations, some genius stoner out there is going to breed 30% THC hemp.
That's my take. Liquor, beer, or wine?
    Open to suggestions.

I didn't come across as an activist, did I? I most certainly am not an activist! Nor am I a rabble rouser or otherwise influential type person. I don't believe anything I hear, read, or see until I prove or disprove a thing to my own unsettled mind. E-fucking-specially when it comes to taking away my right to getting fucked up in a non-medicinal way. A right given to me by the majority of the Prop 64 voters way back in '16. Thanks, y'all!

Another attempt to tell people what they can and can not do. Just leave us alone and mind your own business.

My first grow included Malawi Gold, Durban Poison and White Widow photos. I made seeds from each strain and have LOTS. When adding in all my home made autoflower seeds, I have more than I could ever grow for personal use. I would encourage everyone to make their own seeds! So very easy. As simple as learning that anti-freeze goes in the radiator and motor oil in the engine.

That would be my practical advice as well. Pay attention in class, NebulaHaze has some excellent lessons and tips on healthy seed production as do many of your fellow growers.

Erratum: The DEA has published a letter stating cannabis seeds containing less than 0.3% THC are legal to possess. A seed with 3% THC, if it existed, would clearly be illegal.

This law will not make seeds illegal. Seeds do not contain. Enough thc. That's been the law for some time now. Seed companies are using it as an attempt to panic sell product
