I think most of the rules we consider to be critical are more directed at outdoor grows where plants are at at higher risk. Indoors they dont need the support of Fan leaves etc, as much as they do outdoors.

Hey you guys,
Thanks for your helpful comments..i've been busy on the home front and haven't been posting much...to DabberDog, yes, i topped twice while following Nebula's Manifold Tutorial. Very happy with the results so far...gonna cut these babies down next week on the 17th..trichomes are all milky...hopefully by next week some will be amber. It will be 15 weeks total next week (10 weeks of flowering) but i cant wait any longer..have to travel second week of feb. and need this stuff in jars by then...had a few flare ups of spider mites that i have been squelching with safer's end all...resilient little buggers but they haven't risen beyond soill level...see attached pics...overall happy with the grow, awesome aroma. Haven't smoked in 15 years so family and friends will be the beneficiaries of my labour. Next grow, if photoperiods, i will be sure to defoliate more aggressively beneath the canopy and thin out a bit more...lots of sugar leaves but never sure what to do with them...maybe i'll bag 'em and put them in the freezer for future me to do something with. Cheers and thanks again for the advice.5 Photos

Eek! Spraying during flowering? I know you're in a crunch for time, but you might want to consider washing your buds.Visne explicare?

Have only been spraying the soil and the trunk of the plant..Safer's end all says on the bottle that you can spray it on your vegetables up to the day before you harvest them but you should was the vegetables--(Apply at the first signs of insects (spray plants to wet). Can be used up to the day before harvest) I didn't spray near the buds, only the soil/base of plants and i don't think i used enough for it to concentrate in the buds and i think it breaks down pretty fast. If anyone asks about the strain, i'll tell them it's Safer's Bug Weed lol.

Right on. I don't like spider mites, and I don't like poison, however nontoxic it is.
That's just me.
My brother was a Home Depot manager. One day, he took a bottle of Safer and sprayed it in his mouth to show me how jazzed he was at the product. He said a sales rep did it in his pitch. I can't remember how my brother and I would have gotten to that point in our lives, but I was okay thinking maybe the sales rep used a fake bottle of Safer and maybe my brother was actually spraying himself in the face with poison and I got to watch. Alas...Visne explicare?
