Is Colloidal Silver the easiest or best way to make fem seeds? Getting ready to order seeds from Nirvana. I want to get some clones and see if I can get them to make seeds. I looked into this years ago and haven't had time recently to delve back into the subject.

Hi, Madman.
Easiest or best? Or maybe simplest? I have successfully used colloidal silver the past five years to make feminized pollen and then seeds on both photos and autos.
You can buy pre-made colloidal silver on line. Chose a couple lower bud sites and spray daily or whenever you check your plants.
It is cheaper to buy than to get silver wire, DC power supply or bunches of 9V batteries to make your own.
Lots of good info online on when to harvest pollen and how to fertilize buds. Genetically stable plants should yield a lot of similar seeds.

Here is my adventure with colloidal silver to make seeds. What I would do different is treat just one or two branches instead of the entire plant.
I'm using colloidal silver to force a female plant to become a male to produce pollen. Spraying down the bud sites once a day in the morning just before feeding. I have read about it, but have not seen any pix on what to expect from the plant when the silver is applied except for the end product. The plant is 9 days from flip,
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

For everyone, read Ckbrew's post above and go his link of the previous CS post. Great info. Thanks for posting.
For Madman.
Here is what I do to make pollen/seeds:
- Using a spray bottle of 50 -100 ppm homemade CS.
- Spray lower branch or two, just a spritz on each bud site, with CS daily after first flower hairs emerge, mark treated branch with twist tie so you don't smoke it.
- Stop spraying when pollen sacs start forming.
- Harvest pollen into plastic take home food container and dry a week.
- Gather pollen and dust on buds on plants you want seeds from.
- Wait 4-6 weeks for seeds to form.
- Easy peasy.
And, I use the deseeded buds for RSO or dry ice hash.
