    Female plant developing seeds

Strain Trainwreck: Under ideal conditions with an indoor grow, 8 week flower, pistils and trichomes just right. What would cause these 4 plants to develop seeds in some quantity?

    Thanks

    Stress, light during flowering, genetics...

poor hermaphrodite genetics, inconsistent light/dark periods, extreme high and low temperatures, and general stress as a kept cultivar.

Could they have gotten pollen on them somehow

Either from a stray male in the area or it hermied. Either way your plants have been screwing around.

Pictures are good unless you have already harvested.
Did you see male flowers on one of them?
I think seeds in "some quantity" means pollen got in there somehow

Sorry, but none of those conditions applied. I have a 24/7 Vivosun monitoring system with double backup on rh and temp gauges. These are indoor plants with no exposure to the outside at all. The seed stock was fresh and from Attitude Seed Bank in the UK. Other than an occasional green light inspection, there is zero light penetration.

So your theory is spontaneous generation?

Are you talking on one plant or all of them? Iff conditions are optimal or nominal, blame genetics.

Well, Jim, I'll agree with those suggesting pollination has occurred. Somewhere in the grow a plant has likely "hermed". Your fan(s) then spread the pollen throughout the tent. Don't permit your grow skills to trick you into thinking not.

But, hey, it is no big deal. Let the buds mature, harvest, dry and cure. Seeded buds smoke well, just remove the seeds, or make dry ice hash, RSO, etc. This is one of several lessons on your cultivation journey. Next crop, you might examine all the buds for "nanners" or pollen sacs, especially if growing from these fresh seeds.

Contrary to the belief that seeds will "ruin" a bud, not so. Clean out the seeds and the resulting flower will be just as good as non seeded, just a reduced quantity of bud by about 25%. Removing seeds used to be a standard part of getting a bag.

Many of us smoked seeded bud for years before sinsemilla entered the market, it was a game changer but buds with seeds burned just fine. All my concert tee shirts had seed burns
