So the pigs paid me a visit. Thank god for technology!

Where I live, growing cannabis is legal. There’s a regulation they can’t be viewed from a “public way”, but that means (IMO) a city owned street or sidewalk. From my deck grow, that ain’t possible. Anyways my doorbell rang at 7:59. I don’t like my doorbell being rung that early unless it’s Ed McMhaon with a big fat check. But he’s dead so that ain’t happening. Anyways a second after the doorbell rings I hear this pounding on my tempered glass door. I answer the RING and see the pigs, and the pig banging on my door. DO YOU MIND!?!? You’re waking my neighbors. And you’re damaging my property. “Are you home?” one asked. The only proper response to that is NO. They said I had to move my plants inside. I said I’m legal per the statute. They said no, I’m not. I said, well then we disagree. You don’t like it, talk to my attorney. And then I hung up. Did I say I loved technology? You know what the fine is for violating the “public” part of the law? $25. Two Jacksons and an Abe. Plus, a judge makes the decision. I almost hope they figure out how to write me a ticket. But I ain’t answering the door. They can’t prove who I am. They can’t even prove the plants are cannabis. All they have is suspicison. I have a neighbor who’s willing to host them in her yard, so I’ve always got that route. But I’d still rather pay a couple of $25 fines than give in to Mr and Mrs Pork Chop. I can’t believe in this day and age not only is it legal to grow the stuff, but you can fuck with popo along the way. This is what the Founding Fathers wanted.

Obviously, someone doesn't like your dope and has raised the cop's suspicions. When cops get suspicious, they serve warrants. Then they prove or disprove they are THC containing marijuana plants by taking them for testing. Point is, they have the power up front. You could take them to court and win, but in the end, your plants are now dead. The law doesn't matter when you have local drug police show up at your door and you are laying outside your apartment in handcuffs, with someone's knee in your neck and the neighbors watching. That'll get settled in court when it's too late and the situation is harder to work with than making a few people happy.
This is where LST and subterfuge come in. Lay those plants down. Put other things between them.
I am with you on the legality of everything, but we are just coming out of prohibition. Folks are still going to call the cops. It's going to take another generation or two before people don't care about weed. In the mean time, we still have to bend a little.
    Bud porn makes everything better.

If the neighbors and the police can see your plants so can the leprechauns , and its a very fine line between neighbor, cop and leprechaun

I hope you like the broken tail lights you have ask for. Then they give you a big fat ticket for an unsafe vehicle, and anything else they find.
I have the same restriction, I cant even get the LEO's to look at them or my card. One did ask me if I grow my own, I pointed at the garden, he is looking and suddenly "Oh Shit"!
Move them and everything else to another hood, there is at least 1 person that objects to you and or your girls. Do talk to the neighbors to be and find a hood that everyone grows or is at least cool about it.
Whether or not they be in public view, the person that can see them thinks s/he is the public. Who knows which way a judge that didn't get laid last night will go.

when i saw your plants on the railing in front of all those balconies i knew that was gonna be an issue. remember my wisecrack about james bond ziplining to your plants. too many eyes are never a good thing. avoid the law at all costs. trust me once you get in the system its almost impossible to get out. like rwise said you dont need a string of broken tail lights

Believe me, I read it. Word for word. Many times. And this was well before I decided to get some clones.

I’m not worried about broken tailights. Private garage. There will be no warrants issued. It’s not even a misdemeanor offense, but rather a civil matter. We’ve got one of those hippy district attorneys in charge that won’t prosecute unless it’s some violent crime. She won’t care about pot. Besides, it’s a $25 ticket where I can get a hearing. By the time that rolls around I’ll have harvested.
