Geeze, this sounds like way too much work for me. I understand the bigger yields but man.

Yea it can be a pain in the arse. I went from outdoor grower to DWC indoor, done 3.5 grows and now trying dirt indoor. The first attempt at dwc was surprisingly my best the last attempt I lost a couple of seedlings, had one left, got a few weeks in and nothing was working right so I pulled it all out and started again with dirt after doing some research about it. Having said that, alot of ppl pull it off and pull it off good. bigger yields yea if you get everything right, if not you could loose it all in a heartbeat.

That is chloride, not chlorine. Chloride is the ion with a negative charge to balance the positive ions sodium and potassium. Free chlorine the disinfectant is two chlorine atoms covalently bonded, giving it vastly different chemical properties.Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Thanks for the clarification. I always mix up chloride and chlorine myself. Definitely helpful to understand the difference, especially when it comes to managing water chemistry in hydro systems. Appreciate the info!"Last edited by elaineverse; 08-19-2025, 11:01 PM.
