Manifold progressing well. What is the tape for? If it is just the topping, no need to do anything to it. Do you know about softening up the stems before you bend them? Give the stem a firm squeeze to give it a slight crushing injury. This will soften it up so it will not break. It will need to be supported after that. It will heal in several weeks and be stronger than it was.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

Thx. Yes, the tape is a band-aid. I noticed the main stem topping didn't heal the way I'm used to seeing so I put the tape over the hole for a while to see what happens. Good point about the woody stems. That's def an option.

Once you get your canopy nice and flat I'd think you'd have a 4x2 filled around day 45 with ONLY ONE PLANT, give or take, of veg then I'd flip. You have enough head room to let it shoot upwards on the stretch.

Keep your light going great guns to keep nice tight growth. Nice good breeze helps here too. Continue to LST every day or two, a little bit at a time.

Your numbers are pretty much spot on but I see you're struggling with a bit low humidity but that's ok, just keep temps a fraction lower also to even out VPD. Keep increasing PPFD so your maybe around the 40 to 45 DLI at the flip which will be about all she can take. Nutes maybe around 1.5 to 1.9 EC.

When topping I let the plant go 2 to 3 nodes above where I will cut but always cut just under the higher node. Even then I still split them trying to keep them flat.

Your girls look picture perfect! Fertigate often. Run off around 20% twice a week.

You're on target for a perfect grow. I'd be supplementing calmag every second watering now around 50% recommended for that stage.
    Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
Veg Cupboards: Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains

If I remember correctly, the A5 almost tripled during the stretch the last time I grew it, but it wasn't a mainline grow. I started counting veg 4/24, I'm assuming your day 45 note is in reference to that?

Day 45 was a stab in the dark as to when to flip. In other words your tent will be full by then and no point going any longer with veg. So yes, in ref to that.

Last grow, veg, I did in a 4x2 I couldn't get them out of there into the flower room soon enough and ended up with a full tent growing into the light, still in veg. Was a jungle in there.

Update: She seems to be growing well. I've got her staked out as best as I can at the moment. Doing some leaf tucking to expose bud sites lower on the middle nodes. I think I can pick up four more buds rather easily.

The HLG 350 Rspec is 24" above the canopy at the 4th click on the dimmer dial. PPFD is 573 between the nodes on each end of the plant. The middle nodes are at 485.

Temps are hitting 80 F during lights on and 70 during the dark period. RH is 58-60%. I've held the PH at 5.9 for about a week. The EC is 1.4. I want to bump it up a little to about 1.7 but I'm seeing some burnt leaf tips. That bothers me but I won't be overly concerned. I'll raise it slowly. The Ace Seeds grow guide says the A5 likes strong nutrients throughout the grow cycle.

I'm using the autopot system with a 12 gallon reservoir changing out the nutrient solution every 3-4 days. If I was growing more than one plant on the system I would not be changing out the solution. Using CX Horticulture nutrients starting with 10L's of water adding base Coco A&B at 12ml per L with Growth Enhancer, Wilt Guard, and Regen-A-Root at 10ml, Bio Balance at 2ml and SLF-100 an enzymatic cleaner at 5ml all measured with a syringe.

Depending on how she grows, in another 10 - 14 days we'll probably flip to a flower light schedule.

    More later.

That's one nice looking manifold. Do you know how many bud sites you have? Looks like 30+!

That's a good question. I counted 32 but ima guessing some of them may not survive the next trim depending on their potential to fatten up during flower.

You have it tied down to the wall, good touch, looking good. What is the foil covered object hanging above the center of the plant?

Thanks. It's a little weird looking at that plant opened up in the middle like that.

It covers the ACI RH/Temp probe. The foil cone blocks air movement. I think AC Infinity recommended it. Can't remember.

Recommended temps for growing at different stages are the air temps measured in the room. Sticking a thermometer under the lights gives you a rather skewed reading. Makes it difficult in a small tent.

Your plant is looking good, not long till flip now. Try not to burn her with your nutes..I tend to push the light more so than the nutes....remember, light is food for the plant, not the nutes.

The foil does a nice job of deflecting all of the direct heat from the lamp to avoid a skewed reading (smile). I read somewhere that measuring the temps at canopy level was best. Maybe that's debatable. IDK, but if the foil cover isn't there then the reading is off when the probe is placed above the canopy. You're right about light and nutrients, with light being most important, took me a while to figure that out.
