    Light meter

Hello, I’m just starting a new grow. I’m following the “water only” procedure from the newsletter a week or 2 back. I have a good light, but so far if I have it 12”-18” above the plant gets stretchy. If I make it closer it seems to get a bit sunburnt. If had great potent buds so far, but I think they could be better. Growing a single plant in a 2x2. I want to buy a light meter to get the light just right for distance and intensity. It cost is an issue. Can someone please recommend a decent light meter that won’t put me in the poor house?
    thanks

I use the Photone App on my Iphone it will measure PAR and PPFD but your plant is the best light meter there is. What is it telling you?

I would second this app especially with an iPhone , it is very accurate and you can get it by the month for a few bucks

After screwing around with Photone and other apps. I just bought a Apogee and moved on past the junk.
