    Curing humidity

I’m looking for some advice. Two days ago I trimmed and put into jars my first harvest of buds. All seemed well with the drying process, the humidity was about 50-55% rh however to achieve that I needed to keep the temperature a little high at about 75 degrees. The stems made a little crack sound after 6 days, that seemed fine too. Now that the buds are in the jars the hygrometer in one jar reads 51% RH and the other jar is 55% RH. I have a boveda 58% hydration pack in each jar but I still can’t raise the humidity. The buds don’t feel crispy or brittle. Am I just getting hung up on a number? I’m in northern Virginia in late winter, the air is already super dry. Any advice?

Spray the inside of the lid and put it back on the jar, give it a day or two and check

If you have any fresh leaves you can pluck a few in the jar will raise humidity gently. If no fresh leaves a little sprinkle of water on the top works fine. Fredericksburg Va here and the humidity in my house is 30% right now. Outside it's 41%. Can't wait for spring.

Mist your lid lightly. Don't get the buds wet. Wait a week before misting again as it can take a while to rehydrate. 51% is low but not the end of the world. 55% I wouldnt worry about.
