You just transplant the whole pot to a larger one minus the container! Might top it first so you can tip it upside down to get the existing container off.

Welcome Joe !!! The plants are just too tall. If they were my plants I would treat the top part of the plant like I would a clone. Read this http://www.growweedeasy.com/cloning-marijuana-guide and give the plant and you a second chance at getting it right. Make a small space to completely enclose the plants so you can control the environment and let them veg and get health.Comment

They are a better TYPE of light, but together they are only 36 watts. In order to get large, dense flowers (bud) the general guideline is 150 watts minimum. The plant will still produce buds BUT they will be light and airy. Of course we all understand money constraints, so with that said you're moving in the right direction!

Definitely not ignored! I just found a 250w hps
that fits perfectly in my price range. And am going to close of the room with a blanket so it gets a little warmer. I'd I'm looking in to cloning the plants and re doing it... also I have found some good soil that my buddy found for me but don't know how to switch the medium... So if there is a trick to it, it would be nice know. I really do appreciate all that has been said!

I'm not familiar with any of those brands. Again, my recommendation is to get a grow tent or build a small grow area in your basement FIRST so, you can control your grow environment. -
Okay good to know, on Friday I will be putting up a plastic wall and I will post in like 7 hours but I will be using to make that wall it's sort of a Seer see through very thin plastic you use it to wrap sandwiches. I think I'm going to go with one of the HPS 400 not sure which company yet but we'll decide tomorrow and I'm also ordering the seeds tomorrow! And once the setup is good I will post a pic here so that you can tell me whether or not it is good in terms of air circulation Heat and reflection. Thank you so much for all your help man means a lot and I feel like I should be making a new post with every time I have a new question is this true or should I just stick to what I'm doing right now -
No worries you are going the right direction. This forum is built for questions so ask away. If yo don't want an answer from the forum you can always PM me. As for the light. I used a iPower 400w and it worked great for me. I feel the bulbs are more important to look at more than the fixture itself, but that's just me.

Buying seeds online is safe. We all do it. As for the seeds it probably won't make a difference which type of seeds you get as long as your grow environment is solid. However, my advice would be to complete your setup before spending money on premium seeds. I can tell you're very eager to get going, but without having a good grow setup you may be disappointed with you next grow too. JMTC -
Alright awesome! Checked the gwe on seeds and holy fuck! So many choices! I think I'm going to do a auto feminized pineapple express. And an auto feminized lsd-25. Would you recommend there strains under a 250w hps? I think I'm going to do two of each unless the light isn't powerful enough...

I killed the 8 footer because he was unfortunately male.... And the pre budding female seems to be dying.... I ordered 4 new seeds from sensibleseeds and got 5 freebies! I got a new 400w hps light. New cocoa soil and and am currently building a stand for the light. My only concern is closing up the room because itried with the see through sticky plastic and it didn't work at all so if you guys have any suggestions for something I can use that ca be bought in a hardware store that would be great thanks!

I made my room out of reflectix (a form of insulation that is just like bubble wrap sandwiched between two layers of Mylar. ). It is durable, reflective and insulating.Comment

Joe had a plant once that would not bloom turns out my light was to close, after I moved it 8 weeks later I had a huge crop. for the rest of this grow (yes I think you can finish these) get a better light but also if you cant buy a tent you can get this flexible insulation at home depot or Lowes comes in a roll its 4' feet wide and can be taped together to go floor to ceiling ,cheep alternative.new grow room built summer of 2017 ,argo max tent for veging ,big kahuna reflector, 1000hps with added leds for the full spectrum . 15th indoor grow ,5 years outside gorilla grows(stealth is the key),veg under t5s growing autos under 300w leds
