what I have learned so far:
      environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

I dig holes 2ft by 2ft 1 ft deep, pile dirt removed around side of hole to make it lil taller. Fill with potting soil, it's good for 5x4 bush. Last year for security I did 1x1x1 holes and some Lst. I did get a couple 10gal fabric pots .

Bigger holes make for bigger plants.

I saw where they set fabric pots down in a hole, like 6to 8 inches deep, once root ball got full , they spread out into to ground for more room.

I use pots for growing outdoors. For a 1 pound plant I recommend at least 30 gallon pot. I just dug out a 50 and it was completely filled with roots.
