If you know someone with a healthy tank transfer some water to your tank to inoculate it with microbes. If you put a pleko in there, you have already done that tho. Water looks a little hazy still. A diatomaceous earth filter for a couple of days does wonders to make the water crystal clear. Starting up a tank can have issues like this. kind of like gut flora. It needs to be healthy for things to run well.Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.Comment

Exactly,I removed everything but the substrate and the pleco , waiting for the water to clear up, going to do a good cleaning on the decorit's probably not a big deal but it bugs me like a mother

I bet your first grow wasn't perfect. Roll with it and learn. You'll get it back on track. For cleaning up the plastic n stuff, I used to soak and brush them in concentrated salt solution. Then rinse well with water. I also did this to the empty tank and then everything that went in the tank when setting up. The salt kills microbes with out leaving anything toxic so long as it is well rinsed.
