Liquid nutrients store life after they are opened

Hello everybody as thr title says i wonder if anyone knows how long i can use opened nutrient bottles for?

I ordered 10litre bottles of Remo nutrients and now its too late to sent back.

I read in remos website that they should be used within 6 months from when they are opened....

Do you think i can take them to 2 years because i have so much of them....?

Depends on the nutes but 2 years shouldn't be a problem depending on the following

    Storage temperature and fluctuations

    Light exposure

    Contamination

    Shelf time prior to opening

The more of the above the less they will last
    Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.
Veg Cupboards: Two 4x2x6H cupboards. SF2000 Evo in one SF7000 in other. Climate controlled and automated. Hand watering
Aeroponics Low Pressure Bucket: 20W LED. 5 clones & 20W LED 11 clones
Lights: Mars Hydro FC-E1200W, SF-7000, SF-2000 evo in flower room.
Medium: Coco/perlite, 7.2gal pots, no drains
Current Grow: 5 x Photos Franklin's Orange Zkittles x Sour Diesel in flower room, 3 Franklin's White Widow x Sour Diesel Clones, 13 x Orange ZkittleZ x Sour Diesel clones in Aeroponics buckets x 2.
    Last Grow: A mix

Just a thought, could you break the big bottle down to several smaller bottles and seal the extras in an airtight container until you need them. That should extend the shelf life but have not tried it.

I'm at the end of 4 of 20ltr nute containers that are more than 2 years old since opening. They have spent over half their life in my flower room beside some decently strong LEDs. They get opened at least once every day.

The nutes are performing as well as they did the day I opened them even though the manufacturer only gives them a 12 month shelf life, regardless if opened or not.

Some commercial growers buy their nutes in 1000ltr IBCs and leave them outside in the sun of a day and freezing cold of a night for a year and longer and get away with that also.

Long time listener, first time caller? It is weird. Highly recommend not clicking on those links as they could be malicious. They track your connection IP and can start targeting your modem/router and potentially breach your home network and devices. Not to mention any malicious code that could be executed by browser vulnerabilities, just by loading the webpage. I don't use a VPN always, but it's highly recommended. Along with web security products like Bitdefender.... I've been an IT pro for over a decade...

Even though it was a weird post. It was a good question. I've often wondered the true shelf life of the GH Flora Trio. They say 6 months after opened, but that's gotta be marketing to make you buy more. As long as you keep it stored well and shake it here and there to prevent salt crystals from forming so much, I feel like it could last a few years at least. A better bottle would help like Orggrwr said, since they are kinda leaky.

          Another good point apacin0 .
I've been working the same bottle of veg nutes for a couple years. Just give it a good shake and I'm good to go. No idea if there is an expiration date.
