    Installed my filter

In a previous post I asked for filter advise. I ordered an ipower 6" filter, got it yesterday, was gonna wait till the weekend to install but when I got home from work as soon as I walked up on our porch got hit by a skunk. Dang I hope I haven't waited too long, the mail man worries me, he could definitely have smelled it. Been stinking ( I love the smell) bad for a couple weeks now. Anyway hopefully by tomorrow the smell will be gone. Even though I read the measurements it was still a shock to see how big the filter was, especially inside my 3x3 tent.

haha yeah they take up a fair bit of space.
My partner will be glad I'm getting one for my next grow. I grow in the garage and the last grow stunk out her car for weeks after harvest lol.

So your fan blows out and air exits from the carbon filter?

Yep. Air tight connections are key but not that hard.

For my small tent I did some modifications to my filter. i added a hook on the top so I can hang it in the corner and out of the way.

It's shocking how well that filter works, within a few hours all detectable odor was gone!

but I got it hooked up to a heat sensor set at 68 f.
