There is always room for improvement (or not?)

No matter how many times I have adjusted, rebuilt, and rearranged my grow areas and lights etc. I always seem to find room for improvement and seek to make it better than before. And I have done so 50+ times. One more light, two more fans, 4 more plants, I can adjust that here, and oh that works better there... etc etc etc

Anyone else feel like the progress/evolution of your grow has A.D.H.D.??

    Oh absolutely! Throw on O.C.D.

Anyone who knows it all and never changes, doesn't know it all.
      completed 7 grows
what I have learned so far:
      environment maters more than nutrients
at least a dab of nutrients in every watering
effective flushing before harvest is critical to quality

This makes me think back. I used to have this somewhat ignorant saying, "tell me what you think then I'll you what I know". For someone never willing to learn, this is a dangerous statement, for those who have learned and are willing to teach others, I think it can be a positive thing. Sometimes paying for our own ignorance is the best way to learn and keep learning.

Green75 and luckyacres already have one and have been raving about them. I plan to get one after this grow. Sun System 315 LEC. Check it out online. I wasn't sure about heat until I saw one in local hydro store. It puts out about as much heat as my CFL's!!!

Lotusyde you make a very good point, and I think you characterize the experience of someone becoming an expert at what s/he is doing. It means always striving to put that hard-earned knowledge to work and make it better than the last time; it also means letting our creativity soar.

I almost agree entirely, but after awhile you just gotta scratch the itch and go with what you've got. I dont count it really but i tried growing once when I was 13. It a miserable experience of painful lessons and zero rewards. I'm glad I kept improving from then to now

I just started growing, and getting towards the end of my first grow, and I already changed things 50 times, :-()

Welcome to the club sir. You have earned your patience badge. I'm right there with you. I built my led ballast from scratch and reconfigured it sooo many times for my first grow.

this particular "bug" is imo made even worse for a certain kind of newbie (cough) bc there is not yet a benchmark against which to compare...so everything is up for grabs...or at least that's how it feels a lot of the time.

Totally part of it for me. As a plus re-arranging the stuff I already have does at least distract me from fantasy shopping for new stuff, which is of course a slippery slope to credit card shopping, which is a slippery slope to ... well use you imaginations

I'm not joking here check out my Amazon wishlist with $40k's worth of C02 extraction system on it!!!
