Just started a new plant at home in a roughly 5 gallon pot under a 105w actual power led grow light. I used miracle grow extended release nutrients soil, not realizing it would harm the plant in flower. My question is what would be the cheapest and easiest way to fix this?

Fenx343 Is it a photoperiod or a auto either way doesn't it say it feeds for 3months?? What i'd do is repot it with some nice fluffy seedling soil without the nutes in it. Black Gold is one brand i like to use. Nice fluffy easy rooting potting soil. Otherwise if you don't want to do that...........cross yer fingersSmoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet

I use a t-5 & 54watt CFL for seedlings
Sometimes i use plastic sometimes i use fabric grow containers
Currently using fish/guano during veg growth & FF Grow Big 6-4-4 teens to bloom. Once i see pre-flower i switch to

I just went through this with another newb on another site. The plant will outrun the auto feed. Why" Because the auto feed they use in MG is activated when you water. MG has a low amount of perlite compared to cannabis centric soils so it'll stay wetter longer which is what you don't want for cannabis. Cannabis likes its soil damp to wettish but no more than that. Because the soil doesn't require as many waterings the plant will eat through all the nutrients in the soil.
The newb I helped had mixed in 30% coco so at least he had a better draining soil but, in your case, I would look to replant your plant in a media more accustomed to your plants needs.
Read this so that you get a better understanding of how your choice of media and pot size affect your watering practices.

Your feminized seeds will veg as long as you want. That means you can grow them until the nutrients have flushed out of the MG. Then you throw down with the flower nutes.
However, that will take as long as the manufacturer says. Probably be months. If you give a lot of water when you water without keeping the soil wet all the time you can cut the nutrient flush time.
All that time will let you train your plants for multiple main colas. You really do not need to do anything if you can have the patience for a long grow with big plants.
My schedule for feminized seeds is 2 months of veg with 2 toppings. Flowering goes another 2+ months. That is with coco or FFOF (or its ilk).C'mon, mule!

Thanks for all the help. Just curious, instead of transplanting and giving new soil is there a nutrient I can buy and add in flower that will neutralize the extra nitrogen/nutrients coming from the soil? The MG has definitely caused the flowers to stop growing before

What you can do is to carefully remove the plant from the 5 gallon pot and place the dirt ball on a tarp of some sorts. Remove enough dirt so that you only have the root ball and whatever dirt that surrounds it. Try to not disturb the roots as much as possible. Refill the pot you used with cannabis specific soil and transplant. Add in some mycorrhizae and bacteria into the soil before you transplant to improve your root zone. After the plant has been transplanted into the correct media water it in with some Hormex or Superthrive to reduce transplant shock.

If it were a photoperiod i would not worry so much about flooding and draining washing out the nitrates. Once it's about a month old you'll be giving it hopefully near 1/2gal drink at a time. Just as she grows out increase the amount without flooding till she's ready to flip to 12/12 flower. Lots of folks do still use MG potting soil it's just not recommended by weed growers.
