    Molasses and PH

For those of you who use molasses, does it affect your ph? Or do you use it late enough in flowering that it doesn’t matter?

    Thanks in advance

Yes it affects PH, PH the water after the molasses.

It doesn't affect my pH but everyone's water is different. Like Rwise says always check pH before giving to your plants.

Sulfured molasses will increase acidity but unsulfured shouldn't affect PH. I use it throughout my grows, not just during flower. The use of molasses is not intended as a nutrient for plants but rather to feed the microbes that help break down soil nutrients to be more readily available for absorption. I begin building my soil months prior to planting and use molasses during that process as well because the beneficial microbes it feeds are very efficient at balancing PH levels.
