    HELP! Harvest nervousness

Question for y’all. Getting close to harvest range. My plants leaves have literally started to yellow and crisp up, but my trichomes still seem pretty young (mostly clear and I see a few amber, but not a lot of milkiness that I saw on my last grow). Wondering if I should chop or be more patient?
Looks like an late autumn day in there!

12 weeks. The gal on the right still has some white hairs but the girl on the left is just about red all over. I’ve probably got the new grower jitters and anciness but just trying to avoid the headache (early) and the sleepiness (late). Whats throwing me is that the leaves (although I know not the best indicator) have just suddenly starting dying off, which I didn’t get with my first grow. Could be the strain (Critical+NL) but I’m just nervous not to mess this up so close to the end.

It looks to me like you're just about golden for harvest anytime you're ready to pull the trigger. I'm not seeing any foxtailing so you can wait for that amber without any problems. It's been my experience in recent years that not all strains develop amber trichomes. I had a photo Purple Punch this year that stayed cloudy and clear but still produced excellent flower.

I'd give 'em a week or two more but cutting them down now would be fine.

I'd give it a few days and look again. I understand about being nervous...patience is not one of my strong suits. Cannabis growing is teaching me though. The leaves turning yellow could be the plant using the stored energy in those leaves as it finishes its life cycle. How close is your light?

Yes. It's normal for leaf senescence/fade to happen when harvest is getting near.
