For the jars, are they supposed to be sterilized before curing, or is washing with soap and water ok?

If they have been used and have residue in them I rinse in isopropyl to remove any sticky. Then just run through the dishwasher and make sure they are dry.Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds. -
I just use soapy hot water and air dry them in the grow room.
I've never had mould issues in the curing jars or ammonia problems but I typically slow dry to closer to 55% moisture content than 62%.Flower Room: 11' x 7' x 7.5'H, 480w AC, 13gal/day dehumidifier, 1.5gal ultrasonic humidifier, 60gal (27gal usable) nute tank, 16" pedestal fan & 18" wall fan. Lighting and climate automated. Hand watering.

My outdoor crops I just hung in my garage and that would typically take 2 to 3 weeks, sometimes longer.
My last dry I used the grow room for the first time as a dry room and I accidentally dried them way too fast. I had far too much air movement and the RH was too low.
Next time I'll dry them nice and slow over a couple of weeks in the room. Hopefully the humidifier can keep up with the AC.

Generally I just pop ββem in the dishwasher. Then I give them a quick rinse with clean water to remove any possible soap residue then air dry.
Iβve also reused jars I just emptied many times (cause sometimes Iβm just lazy) . Never had a problemKIS mix organic living soil from Black Sallow soils in 7gal. pots
