Ohh I see. I don't know why I thought it was coco. Well... that's the complicated thing about soil, you never know exactly what's in there and it's hard to do anything about it once the plant is in the soil. To me it kinda looks underfed but it could be any kind of issue preventing nutrients from being absorbed. I can't give you advice there. I don't know how to fix it. That's why I gave up soil, apart from the fact that they grow twice as fast in coco the control aspect is huge. And about the CO2, as long as your not wasting money is all good, just be sure to have a fan or something to create air movement just so the CO2 doesn't build up in the floor preventing oxygen from reaching the roots.

I have good castings, I have cal mag without nitrogen and I got the Gaia green to go with it. The rest of the NLS I have, I guess I can use for teas and microbes. But first I want to give the Gaia green a chance and see what happens.3 Photos

Germination and veg was always smooth sailing but not this time..... Everything just going wrong

I use nature's living soil autoflower version. Then during bloom I would use their Flower Power bud booster. They also sent me their microbes pack called Soul revival. 6.2-6.5 pH water with runoff being the same. As far as CO2 goes...I can't help that.... Unless I stop breathing. I don't buy CO2 I just get those numbers from breathing in that small room. But yeah I know about the Law of minimum. She just went from looking amazing to this in 2 weeks time...

Just to be even more annoyed. ALL the seeds I planted from FastBuds all 6 of them. Garbage. They're a month old and 6 inches tall with red stems stunted growth.... Complete failure....I never had issues with germination and veg.... What was different this time? Kelp meal. I never added kelp meal in the past this was my first time using it. Every plant I put it into did very poorly. The ones I didn't add it to were fine. Coincidence?
Then work my father's plant..... He's growing it in a gallon of soil and it's all fine. Not a single red stem. But mine got red stems and red stalk and everything. i don't get it.....I just don't get it. The guy that don't know what he's doing is doing better at something that I've spent hundred of hours watching videos and reading books and failing for 3 years(if I don't count the one blue dream from 2 years ago and the bubble gum, amnesia haze and Bruce banner those were actually successful). But in between those 5 plants there's been 20 of 30 that all failed for literally exactly the same reason.
I follow exactly down to the period what this person or that person is doing and can NEVER replicate it. I don't understand how ppl use Fox Farm soil and don't get acidity issues. My soil goes to like 4.0ph. While everyone else like " oh Fox farm the best" and they get these great results.
Tried Coco and still same problem different medium. Still red stems everywhere and spotted dying. It's gotta be the nutrition line. For once I know for a fact it's not the pH. Going in and comes out the same or off by only 0.1. Not like with the Fox farm where I put in 8.0 water and get 4.8 runoff.
I just don't understand how each and every one of the FastBuds is doing so poorly. It's gotta be the kelp meal5 Photos

The only bugs I had was the fungus gnats S with closer inspection they were all breeding in my father's plant. I have it mosquito bits and they're all dying back. Aside from that no bug issues
It def calcium. And magnesium because of all the pale brown spots. I legit didn't put cal mag into one watering and from then it was all down hill. Before that I was alternating one watering got full dose Cal mag(5ml per gallon) and in-between that I would give it a watering with half dose Cal mag. I did it because the leaves were like people with nitrogen. I've since gotten the TPS OAC Cal Mag which doesn't have any nitrogen. Just giving it full doses (2ml per gallon) according to instructions. I guess it's a higher concentration than the GH calimagic since you need less per gallon.
It's the same thing whether I'm growing in coco or growing in soil. 2 weeks into bloom this is how they always look. I've changed EVERYTHING except the nature's living soil nutrition ..... So I bought Gaia Green...... Even though they both basically use the same ingredients, maybe this will work better for me. I'm really beginning to suspect it's the NLS. It's like click work 3 weeks into bloom I get red stems and from then on just leaves dying slow growth small buds and then just larf. I'm just tired of the same problem EVERY SINGLE GROW.

Coco is notorious for mag deficiency issues. Add in LED lighting and it multiplies. The pH looks fine to me. I don't think a .3 difference in pH is going to do much if your showing 6.2 going in/out.
To me it looks like more of an imbalance than a deficiency. The dark green leaves look like N tox but the brown spots and yellowing look like mag def.
I would back the light off some and do clear water feeds for the next few feeds to see if it clears up the imbalance.
Here's a mulders chart to help going forward with imbalance issues. As you can see, too much calcium pretty much interferes with availability of most everything else.

Have you checked for bugs? I have had good results with adding a touch or H2O2 to the feed water at the rate of 34% peroxide, 2.5ml/gallon every once in a while. It provides some extra O2 for the roots, and will help suppress fungus gnats if you have them. They tend to show up with excessively watered coco. If you have algae growing on the surface of the coco or on the perlite that is also a sigh of being to wet. I wouldn't be pissed, have a bowl and learn something from the experience. That is how we get better at things.

What ec or ppm are you giving the plant? What exactly are you feeding? In soil the bacteria is what's feeding the plant. In coco you have to provide nutrients directly to the roots thru osmosis, there's no bacteria to break down "organic" amendments.
Also I think you are wasting the CO2 because the plant can't use it right now. Only when the system is dialed in and the plant is super healthy with extra nutrients available and tons of light, then the CO2 can be used

Normally I got paragraphs of shit to say..... Not this time..... I'm BEYOND pissed. 3 weeks into bloom it went from beauty to zombie...... Beyond pissed2 Photos

I guess the next run, I'll double buffer it in 150% cal mag (7.5ml/gallon). Just to be safe. This is why I avoided Coco for so long. So much extra work which I don't have the energy or health for.
I watered with 6.5 pH. Seems like it may have stopped getting worse. Need another day or so to be sure

I did the brick thing the first year, I have better things to do with my time. PITA. The prepared bags of coco are much easier. Imo even the "pre buffered" stuff needs to be conditioned with calmag.
