I have been watching the trichomes on one of my plants, waiting for amber to show up more. But I'm seeing black trichomes, does that mean they are dying??

Dark tricomes on sugar leaves don't mean anything...some will change just due to light exposure over time...they grow on sugar leaves and dry up faster...tricomes on calyx gets moisture from calyx.. (bud)...that's where they grow and originate...spread from there like a sickness...( a good one tho )
