I'll ask it: are you sure it is the resin ball that is black and not Thrips poo stuck on resin ball?

Green is right those are not the tricomes you base your harvest on. But indeed they look a bit weird. Usually the color also affects the "body" of the tricomes. Not just the head. Get your hands on a microscope and figure this out. Now I'm curios
