Black Trichomes, what does that mean??

    That's fascinating: I've never seen that before. I looked it up and saw pics of lots of purple trichomes, but nothing that looks like yours. I am very interested to know what it is...

    Dark tricomes on sugar leaves don't mean anything...some will change just due to light exposure over time...they grow on sugar leaves and dry up faster...tricomes on calyx gets moisture from calyx.. (bud)...that's where they grow and originate...spread from there like a sickness...( a good one tho )

    Yeah, but what does it mean when you see this? I try to look at the calyx, kinda hard to see past the sugar leaves sometimes.

    Green is right those are not the tricomes you base your harvest on. But indeed they look a bit weird. Usually the color also affects the "body" of the tricomes. Not just the head. Get your hands on a microscope and figure this out. Now I'm curios
