HELP! Is it normal for the fan leaves to turn red during flowering?

Is it normal for the fan leaves to turn red during flowering?

Flower week 7 / 46th day of flowering
    Jaba OG crossed with Pachamama

I thought it may be too much light, so I've switched to "Bloom" setting for now. It's the middle plant directly under the light. I have the light as far up as it will go.

I have backed off on (organic) fertilizer for the past 2 weeks and I have been only using seaweed and Big Foot Endomycorrhizae.

I'd love to hear from the experienced growers.

Well I'm not an expert or anything but those are some pretty plants! It's my understanding that some strains do change colors more than others during mid-late flower. I think it's due to the flower process "stealing" all the nutrients out of the fan leaves. It's normal for them to change colors and eventually die - in my experience.

Totally normal. Normal but not typical.
If you think about trees turning color and falling off in autumn, it's same-same with weed.
        Successful grow!

Um... pretty much what I said. Your plants are sucking nutrient and sugar reserves from the plants to feed the flowers.
There are other variables such as strain and temperatures. Ever hear of the purps?

I'm pretty sure I read on GWE, purple leaves can be a sign of light stress. I'm not sure I can tell the difference. Natural leaf color change or light stress.

What I read is that purple stems can be caused by the light, not leaves.

Consider that each strain is a hybrid and has different phenotypes bred together to make whatever strain it is. Seeds produced have a dominant pheno for sure but they can and will, on a random basis, exhibit every one that makes up the strain. For instance, I'm growing A5 Killer Haze and Ace seeds explained that I could get 4 different phenotypes and had a description for each. I've also grown Purple Number One and Granddaddy Purple. Both grew purple flowers, but not on every plant. But it is as Gingerbeard explains.

Everyone has furnished such great information. I really appreciate it and thank you all.
I think that golfnrl and Gingerbeard have hit my situation the closest.

My seeds came from a friend of a friend who has fun with crossing strains. I'm sure there is a jumble of phenos. It's one plant out of three from the same seeds.

This started as a lark that got seriously out of hand when stuff actually grew!
