As of today they've been spread out and are likely in their final positions. The other two lights have been fired up and positioned accordingly. The SF is at 28-29" from canopy at 90% power and the outer boards are at 27-28 @ 100%.

Nah, I don't really do the net thing. I just got em kept low. Plus, they're not gonna need it. I think I got them under control. ðŸĪž
Though I would really like to make anotherattempt at a Scrog on a photo someday.

Blowdout2269 I'm trying my 1st attempt at a scrog this grow. Last grow I was hopelessly tying them up with the tails from the ratchets. It was far from ideal...this grow I've got a dozen yoyos and I'll try my best with a net or 2..it's just going to make everything next to impossible to do or at least heaps more difficult...got to try

I'm at the point with my autos in flower that it's OK to remove leaf because i get sweat on leafs when lights first come on i see water with leaf touching leaf. I know you don't want to do that yet, or even if you defoiliate. PS i tried a scrog only 1x with indoor photo grow PIA took it down could not work with it so now i use bamboo. LOL it's a good thing to have a full tent until trimming LOL. Hang in there

    #33
Yeah, I like full grows with lots of lovely plants...until I'm convicted and sentenced to trim jail! Lol.
Oh, and I definitely plant to defoliate! I'm just seeing how far I can go, hehe. It'll probably happen after the stretch only though, not before and after as usual.
    Thanks for the comments! 😃

For an F1 I'm impressed with their consistency in growth so far. Bud development will be interesting.
let's take a vote on how many will go scarlet. I'm gonna say 7.

Yes, # 6 is going to be quite large. She is also training out quite nicely. Its 2, 4, and 5 that I'm tempted to defoliate prior to flower. But I will just have to stay on top of them. They're just so damn vigorous!

That was my initial thought Bluey.
But there's another issue I have yet to resolve and I'm afraid it will effect their flower stretch.
After watering, they never perk back up all the way. A few actually show a perky-ness accompanied by a "claw-like" drop. Which leads me to believe that the soil might be to hot still.
Others look far from a nitrogen toxicity. Just droopy. This could be a root issue. But I also wonder if they want the lights to be closer.
They really got me stumped atm...

Doesn't look like an N toxicity to me but then mine look like they have an N deficiency in my pics but they don't, it's just my lights and the white balance on my camera giving it an extra lime green look.
They don't look like they need drastic change.
Can you measure temps in your soil?

Bluey, well take a look at this pic! Out of the eight, three are giving me REAL trouble.
And I suppose IR on the surface of soil or fabric pot would get me close? The average leaf temps are 71-74° and the room has been holding at 76°F. Much warmer in here since cleaning and firing up the cabinet next door (more info coming about this soon). Water jugs are off-gassed in the room and brought to temp. So I'd assume the soil isn't much cooler. Guess I could stick a meat thermometer in the soil. Lol
Gonna need me some expert opinions on this one.
Anyone of y'all feel free to chime in! 🙂👍

Your area looks that packed thick and dense I'd be blowing a fan on low from up high down into that, but you need to be careful because it can be detrimental for quality. I just installed a 45cm industrial 135w wall fan with remote control and sleep function to blow down on mine....it's real breezy in there now with 3 fans...babies are loving it.

Ok, feel like it's been a minute. How we doin group?
I'm still off work going back in a week or so. I've been busy with the house, physical therapy, family, harvest
        ...and the Scarlet Grapes!
These buggers have had me stumped. I've actually struggled quite a bit with this grow. But I think I've finally correct my problems. ðŸĪž
        TL;DR @ the bottom.

So, first it was the under watering. I thought it had been corrected.(WRONG, keep reading). But I left it alone.
Then I thought overwatering or wind burn. Ruled that out quick.
Note: at this point have only been giving my plants dechlorinated water with use of Vitamin C to adjust the pH. The input ranges from 6.2-7.2
Could it be a nutrient deficiency or toxicity? Maybe the bloom tea I gave them at first signs of flower was to strong? Idk. Continuing to ride it out.
Bugs maybe? I've done vigorous searches over several days. Just some fungus gnats, which are mitigated. Nothing else. Though I did find this one strange bug(this will be brought up shortly). I've ruled out pests as well. ðŸĪ” Carried on with LITFA.
Probably root zone stuff then, right? Well I know from the past that my cooked soil build is a tad hot. They'll just have to grow into it. It's worked in the past. I'm not washing my soil out. Carried on with "watering".
Finally, a few days ago I decided to do some light haircuts. Especially on the ever bushy 4 and 7. I was so tempted to take yellowing leaves on others, but just took it easy and practiced some serious self control. I've made this mistake before. Took mostly leaves that couldn't be tucked anymore, or were dragging in soil, aswell as a few large fans. It's been over three weeks since I saw signs of flower on most, but I'm unsure about what phase of stretching each plant is in. Number 8 on the other hand got a full blown defo/lolly and loved it! But this isn't my problem either.

Now, obviously I've taken this grow on a little differently then some. Little defoliation, tucking, and such.
But I've also taken LST to the extreme with some. Which has likely resulted in some stress. (The way it has possibly "stunted" a few of these gals is amazing to look at! It's like the buds are in a fat pile up down low, lol. Pics following)
I'm also ashamed to admit that I've also been quite careless with my handling of these plants(water on leaves, rubbing against pistols, tearing leaves, ect.).

Ok, so at this point I'm pulling my hair out, but still refusing to try a bunch of everything and just LITFA.
Then the other day after a visit to my grow and standing to ponder again...a lightbulb goes on in my head.
Look at the pics. Most of the unwanted yellow is occurring on the four plants under the new light! So, I raised the SF4000 a few inches and reduced to 80%. If it is light related, its unlikely they will recover much.
At this same moment I decided to lift a few pots...huh.
Way light way earlier than expected. So I gave 2, 4 and 7 A LOT of water, and I absolutely drown # 8. They loved it!
They next day I did the same to the remaining four. All pots have been raised to heavy AF! I also took this opportunity to collect and test a small amountof run-off from two diffferent specimens. 6.5 and 6.5, same as every other tim I've checked runoff of this soil. No matter what the input.
Results are immediately observed the very next day. We'll have to see about the still grumpy discolored 2, 3, and 6. But, the ladies are praying to the sky! If this is the fix...I feel very embarrassed, lol. Still starting to get some burnt tips, but meh. Oh yeah, plants # 1, 2, 4, 5, and 7 appear to be doing the Scarlet thing.

        There it is!
My tough journey over the past ten days or so.
We'll see if I've dodged a bullet. Hoping for the best but expecting the worst. Pictures take forever to load, so I'll be throwing in as many as I can here and in future posts. I will also be attempting to add descriptions when I can(we all know how the interface can be, lol). We're also gonna play a round of Name that Bug in honor of Going2fast
Thank you for reading and participating with my grow!
        ✌🙂👍
TL;DR - The struggle is real. Though grow, but I've had worse. Think I got it worked out. Pictures to share.

All of the pictures in this post are new as of today.
        SG family shot.

Nice work...yes those Spider Farmer quantum boards are surprisingly powerful..I'm at up to 37" above with 2 sf7000 4th week of flower raised from 34" 4 days ago. They will toast em in no time if you follow the recommendations of the manufacturer....they are so off the mark.

37" is a bit too high but it's as high as I can go and needed to get it up all the way before I net. They are only 12" apart the two SF-7000's which I am now sure is too close together.
