    "AUTO'S, 24/7 LIGHTS"

I have 4 Auto's starting to flower...I have kept them on a 24/7 light schedule. As with photoperiod do they need a dark time for buds to grow...?....Or will they grow fine on the 24/7 light schedule?...

Just about any light schedule will work with at least 12hrs of light.
Academics indicate a plants return on light expense to be around 18/6. (low cost per gram)
That said, many growers use 24/7 for auto's (and veg).
    I personally use 20/4 for auto's.
It's all bullshit - until you smoke it!

I run my lights 24/7 on my autos as well. I do however own a dimmable ballast with wattage adjustments I can run a 400 watt 10,000k RATED MH bulb in my 600 watt ballast set to the 400 watt setting. I chose to change bulbs to a lower wattage rather then just turning down the ballast using a 600 watt bulb I do this out of spectrum concerns. Still, 400 watts is 200 watts less than 600 so I guess I shave money off the bill anyway. I think the early stages of plant does not require the full 600 watts at least when vegetating. The cool tube fixture lets me use light closer to plant anyway, Heat is not a problem at least in my 2 FOOT BY 4 FOOT set up. When its flower time I change my bulb out to a full 600 watt HPS lamp for the finish. WITH PRACTICE AND MANY YEARS I WILL BECOME AS GOOD AT THIS AS GREEN

No dark time for my autos NONE (personal preference) others do less light. Remember I am a new home grower for personal medicinal use only, and with no experience so please check with the experts here before trying anything new.

Pkant ned dark time';s just like every other living thing go with 18/6. Many years ago the 24/0 light cycle was used but now a days it was reduced - There arr some breeders that use a 24/0 cycle. The growth of 24/0 vs 18/6 = really no difference (18/6 healthly plants)

Done both 18/6 and 23/1...not all that scientific, but I feel the longer light has speeded up growth. Still like to give them 1 hour dark break.

In my exsperince it depends on the strain my plants are all autos all same age. Blueberry and candy cane grow awesome with 24/7 light but my tangerine dream only likes 18 max before the leaves start to curl down and be stiff. LED lights 15inchs away 300 watts over 2 plants temp 76-80degrees 30RH 8week old plants
