I promise, no one got they're feelings hurt. It's the internet, don't let it get the best of you. Continue to post, share some pics and enjoy yourself. That's why we're here. Topics often go off track and folks have fun with it. You've been a member on this site for 5 days at best. Telling long standing members what they can or can't talk about on a thread will go over like a fart in church.

Yeah I think instead of getting pissed off about anything you can just SMH and laugh.

I got what I came for anyways. It was to find out about cloning after budding, and one if it could be done and two on the procedures. Hours of light, etc.

      Right on.
To those in the know, can revegging be done, outside, this late in the season? Same with clones. There isn't enough light. Isn't artificial lighting the only way they can be done?
      C'mon, mule!

Reed , you can absolutely take a clone from a flowering plant, in this case it started as a bud. They look kind of funky, like this:

Get them to root just like any clone. Put them on 24/0 light until they re-veg. The bud will turn back into single lobed smooth edge leaves. You have to get the bud to turn into a branch. So you have to keep cutting off the nodes closest to the stem and leave the bud on the end. Kind of like the opposite of topping. Do this to make several branches. Everywhere in the pix above on the branch where there is an nub, that is a bud or leaf that was cut off. Eventually they will start growing 5 lobed serrated leaves. then you can start your veg process how you like. Then flip when time is right for you. The process was long and drawn out. Slow in the beginning, getting it to re-veg. Once that happened, grow it just like growing any photo.
Don't worry, be happy, grow sticky buds.

@Reed "Feeling hurt" Nope I was never "hurt" new comer..! Remember this is not "FaceBook" or other bloody sites where people just blast at each others. Most here have zillion years of growing experiences. I for one grew weed from the age of 16 and I'm 68 yrs. And yes we do use other posts for informal conversations. Do I get upset when some derail from the conversation on my post ? Absolutely not !! I sometimes join the conversation myself.

I understand you are eager to share your experience with the "Hawaiian" strain but keep in mind we may on occasion talk on other subjects.

If you want help on weed we will do our damndest to help you. If you want to be an ass then it's another story.

Let's be more cordial among each other ok ?

For a starter how many grows you have under your belt ?

        Cheers,

        FarmBuck

PS. One of my first grow was the infamous "Blue Hawaiian" strain a pure Sativa landrace of the 70's. Now it's been cross with other strains.

Oh yes I'm french and being one I like to talk about politics in a mature way without judging the other. I respect their opinions like I want to be respected .

"tobacco" was a vehicle for engaging into a conversion between 3 countries and an embargo. Mine, yours (if you are an American) and Cuba. It's in my blood and my American friends knows it.

We are all different here and that's the beauty of it.

Alors sois plus sage la prochaine fois mon ami..!

Do you still feel like you're 16? EDIT: My mind is still in the '60s so I guess I'm living 16.

Yep chop chop alright, a cruel way to go... But then we frenchies had our own chop chop method just as barbaric than theirs. Oui the famous guillotine. Now the Belgian have a beer called "La Guillotine ". Which one do you prefer ? I prefer the later one.

I witness a Sicilian mafioso execution of a poor Italian in front of the public during the day in Terrasini, Sicily. Poor guy he was gunned down by the mafia. Wife fainted and a few of my friends also. I had nightmare of it for several years.

My preferred way to go is anything that happens in my sleep or is so awesome I get my own meme and NFT.

I do identify the strain if somebody asks, but out on the street, or even with people you know, the strain you are often given or sampled is whatever you want to hear it is. If everybody wants Cherry Pie you can be told what you're getting is Cherry Pie, maybe it is maybe not. The seeds could have any origin, maybe they are Hawaiian maybe not, but that's not important. What counts of course is how much you like the effect.

Sometimes if I'm in a wise guy mood I will say the flower strain is "whatever you want". Then I'll be honest and say what I grew out.

EDIT: Frankly, I think most tokers have no idea what they're smoking and couldn't tell the difference between Girl Scout Cookies and Thai Stick. That's a generalization and I often get in trouble for generalizations. Actually, I'm never in a wise guy mood.
