They are deep....I try and do all tie downs after i water/feed...

Do you have issues getting your staples/tie-downs to stay in the medium?
I tried to emulate using softwire and it didn't go well. The soft wire clung to the stems but wouldn't hold in my medium (coco), the plant kept pulling them out of the coco. I wonder if coco is too loose for this technique?
(I'm searching desperately for an excuse here )
