I have used those rings a couple of times, make sure you nutrients are fully dosolved or take a drill and/or open up the holes a bit. I would also raise them up to at leaset 3 inches above the media so you can watch the water/feed come out. Is that cococoir? How many times a day do you water/feed?

The top layer (1/3) is FoxFarms "Light Warrior" seed starter with the bottom layer (2/3) - is Coast of Maine- Stonington Blend (basically no nutrients required for Autos).
Current frequency is 48 hours between watering.

That frequency for Soil is probably right, I grow in coco and feed/water 4-5 times a day

Week #3- top/lolipop window- not quit ready, I topped one plant early @ 4th node as it looked ready to run. I'll try and hold out for 5th node on others.

Mephisto genetics calls for an intermediate skill level of growing- and I notice, no two plants look/act alike. all are healthy without noticable deficiencies. I did have one mutant seedling which has grown out OK-(but I'm not certain about it's root structure as there was too much topside growth at the onset).

I have added more soil about 1/2 Stonnington and 1/2 Light warrior to each pot. Watering without stress to plant, so I will add weekly (light) bloom A&B during this week-and watch for toxicity, as the soil has enough to complete the grow.

I felt they needed more light at the veg stage so I dropped it to 30" above soil level last week- all LEDs @ 100%. the plants response was immediate (positive).
I was able to find yield info.

The stretch should begin around the 4th of July.
I was watering differently- spraying the surface first, during the first 2 weeks to dispurse the water without compacting the soil. (Mephisto recommendation)
I have not been watering to run off- allowing nutrients to stay in the soil.

My only concern- I was trying to slow the maturiing of the seedlings - to allow for expanded root growth before stretching (Mephisto recommendation) - but HVAC issues and hot temps raised my grow tent temperature higher than I like - by a few degrees.

Next post - after the stretch. Around mid July.

Interesting turn of events: ALL PLANTs have begun the flowering stretch- showing pistils etc.

The Plant that was much taller and looked futher ahead has pistils and what look like MALE parts-
I will observe for a few days and chop it down if pistils don't develope or more balls appear.

On closer examination of these picks- I'm chopping it down tonight and just run 2 plants with 2 lights.

Week #6 - plant strectch is about done- good bud formation- I hope to get a little more height (not likely).
Removed a few leaves blocking budsites- Plant size and water consumption consistant with previous grows. weekly Bloom A&B low strength.

ID:	651448 <-- dropped a seed in pot that the mutant was in-

Plants are doing well- very easy grow- I estimate about 6 more weeks.
