Well here she is, baby Swiss Cheese auto from Nirvana. She's supposed to have a cheese taste with a peppery aftertaste, and have a very strong penetrating smell when growing. ๐ฝ Also high in CBD and medium THC, with a powerful cerebral high. ๐ I'm growing her in a 5 gallon smartpot, using 5 lbs of Kind soil on bottom, and the top filled with Ocean Forest. As with Bubba 2, I am using as many 100 equivalent watt CFL light bulbs as I can manage to surround her with. She is quickly getting to the topping and training stage, and I am excited to see her start to take off! ๐ฟ

You're a week ahead of my autos rockman, I'll try and keep up
I was looking at that strain just yesterday, I'm sure you'll inspire me to try it.
She looks great.Sand, sea, sun, sausages, and sinsemilla.

Here is the look after topping at node 2. There are now 4 main branches which I plan to keep real low, and let them split in two. Time will tell! ๐ฟ1 Photo

Figured it out ha! Looks like two good tops!

mmm ... to top or not to top ... that is the question.
I think you and Green have inspired, maybe I'll top my autos this week
-
@Beach_Town_Brit...I would definitely suggest the topping, especially if the young plant is growing strongly and can quickly respond to this training. Can't say enough how enjoyable it was for me to work with a plant that was kept low and wide, allowing me to more easily provide close CFL lighting to give the auto what it needs to produce abundantly! ๐ฟ

Damn that's hella quick that's awesome. I might invest in trying that next time. Here's a picture from when I first got it and it was sickly. Also how do you comment on a previous comment1 Photo

Thanks, she is quick already. This may be another real fun grow!
That plant of yours has some strong looking leaves. You've done well!
As far as the comment question....can't you just make another comment in the same post? I'm no expert on some of our technology marvels, and I'm just getting use to being on a forum. ๐

After topping at the 2nd node, she is sending out 4 strong arms. Training is focused on spreading them wide, and some defoliation to keep her open to good light. ๐๐ฟ1 Photo

Nice progress on baby Swiss Cheese.๐ฟ Also wanted to clarify that she is only having one topping (at 2 nodes). The 4 branches will each be allowed to grow 2 sideshoots. So along with the growing tip of each arm, there will be 12 colas to develop. No more topping. ๐ธ1 Photo

She's developing some nice buds....12 are on their way to cola land! ๐ธYesterday I changed bulbs to soft white (2700 K). As with Bubba 2, I've been giving only distilled water...no nutes. Very pleased so far with her vigor! ๐ฟ1 Photo

Great coverage. Do you increase the wattage or numbers of bulbs for flowering?
I'm running my P300 with just the veg switch currently and I'm thinking it's getting to time to hit the plants with the full wattage.
-
Thanks BTB. Just in the last 3 days she's spread out quite a bit on her own! The wattage on bulbs stays at 100 watt equivalent, and right now I've added the final number of lights on her...to 7 bulbs. Maybe later I might fit one more...training her to stay short and wide has really helped me to cover her closely with light. ๐ป
