Hey so I recently bought myself some vermiculite as the local hydroponics shop recommended it while growing in Coco, they said perlite or vermiculite would be ideal however vermiculite would take the edge, do you have any opinions on this and if so what ratio should I use between Coco and vermiculite? Any help is much appreciated

I was told when I started that vermiculite wouldn’t be a great choice since it holds water, I don’t know if there’s any difference in coco and soil in that respect I’m in soil, and that perlite would be a better choice. Hopefully someone that knows a hell of a lot more than me will chime in.

I've used it in my soil mix. It holds water it's not for drainage or air space in soil. You need perlite also.Smoke Ganja create Peace Respect Nature don't trash the Planet
