Older 'blurple' leds that use the red and blue monochromatic diodes aren't very efficient at converting watts of electricity into photons of light.
Because of that, you will get better yields from more power vs. any morphological change you might see from a different spectrum.
A blue-shifted spectrum may tighten node spacing, while a red-shift may elongate them.
