Are these trichomes clear or cloudy?

    Hello,

My girl is at 8 weeks, all her hairs are brown.

I took a nug off and looking under microscope. I trimmed off the bigger leaves, left the smaller sugar leaves.
One side of the bud (that was facing light) appears to have a lot of amber trichomes.
The other side is all either clear/cloudy.

Thing is, I really can't tell the difference between clear and cloudy, and that's because of the light from the microscopes.
I've been harvesting when I start finding lots of amber trichomes, because I can't tell the difference otherwise.

I took pics using two different microscopes.
Are these trichomes clear or cloudy? Is it ready for harvest?

First two pics are from the weaker microscope, makes everything look clear IMO.

These are from my microscope with better zoom, but then I think everything looks cloudy and it could be because of the light. I'm also rotating the bud here, so one side will have a lot of amber, and the other side not have any.

Looks cloudy to me. I do see a couple amber trikes in there too. Your not too far off in my opinion. Maybe another week or two?? Patience is the hardest part of grown( at least it is for me lol). Good luck!

Based on my preference, I still see too many clear trics.
I would wait a bit if they were mine.

One thing not mentioned is that you have to look at the trichomes on the buds and not the leaves because leaves are liars. Plus buds like anything else that grows ripen at different rates normally the top stuff will be first. What I like to do is allow the top buds to get really ripe (lots of amber) and keep them separate from the bottom ones that are less ripe. This will give you some smoke for bedtime and some for daytime. Not sure if you have seen these but they could be helpful

Nice pictures, I still see a good many clear too, for my taste, but some folks love to leave a few clear trichs.
I'm to old for that racy heart pounding stuff, but I'd say yours are in the so called harvest window right now.
But if mine I'd wait another week or two, but I'd still be checking them closely, daily. Once the amber starts showing on your buds, it can rapidly turn amber on them all. So keep a close eye on them,
            Nice job, congratulations. 1985

I'm with gbauto. Looks like you're between clear and cloudy with a smattering of amber. Give it a week or two.
