    WPM will end my growing

Well not long ago I posted about having white powdery mildew. I have tried peroxide and I have tried neem oil, and I have tried green cure. I have air circulation I'm keeping things as clean as possible to no avail. In my flowering room I have four beautiful plants that have wpm so badly and I cannot get it under control. My thinking is I'm going to have to dump these girls which are in the middle of their 6th week of flowering, over the bank outside. And shut that room down completely.
I don't know what else to do. I cannot get this under control. In my other room where I have photos and super autos well into flower, it is becoming nearly as bad. Just going upstairs to tend to these plants on a daily basis leaves me in a very foul mood the entire rest of each day. Does anyone out there have any solution to this it might work? This is a disaster.

Yes, read this thread, I have used this on mine, it worked for me, H2O2 did not, milk did not, Trifecta Crop Control did with repeated treatments and it is costly.
Two teaspoons of apple cider (Heinz Apple Cider Flavored Distilled) vinegar in a quart of water seems to have gotten rid of WPM I had been battling for many months. I was losing better than a leaf a day. None yesterday or today and I don't see anything new. It's not a pot plant but a good to know if I get it on one.

Air flow, RH control, trimming all work together.

Rwise, do you think that I have a hopeless case? Will cleaning the room and spraying the plants that two weeks left until Harvest help?

My nemesis as well - I use this product well into flowering (I only grow autoflowers) and it doesn't harm the buds.

      Defender garden fungicide by Safer's

Looks like milk when sprayed on - I've learned to spray ALL of the plant - cuz I've seen the WPM growing on stems.

I have a grow 30 odd days in and I've sprayed my plants already last week for it - I also have a new routine going - every time I take the plants out for watering (in kitchen sink) I wipe down my tent walls with Lysol wipes (which I seem to have a lot of lately) wiped em down 4 times now and plan to continue.

After you finished with your current grows Greenpassion - take your tents totally apart and give every part a deep clean in bleach.

Just what 147 said, clean an disinfect after every grow, if possible.

Canuck147 , I wish things could be that easy here. I do not have tents.. I have to grow rooms that are about 10 x 12 feet. I think I'm going to have to break everything down if we can get these plans to release hang on for two more weeks and the flowering room. We are wondering is there a bomb we could set off in the room with the plant not in there? Something that would kill wpm?

I did the milk method then the apple cider vinegar method both did not work for me slowed it down a bit but still popped back up i had 4 weeks left to flowering by 2 weeks i did not want to risk the plants anymore so i harvested without flushing.

What i did at the end of harvest was I did the bud washing technique with the bins and Hydrogen peroxide then in the second bin Lemon Juice and Pure Baking Soda then 3rd bin as a rinse then i took them to the sink and washed them gently just to make sure they we're clean and to wash out any Hydrogen peroxide out of the plant.

They have cured nicely and still are curing no traces of wpm the smoke ain't that bad so it saved my harvest looks like the cleanest weed I have had even tho i prefer not to bud wash them cause i am indoors i am glad i did

Shankemdirty , thank you for that response. I can only it will be something to left to wash! That is my main concern right now. Also, attempting to grow anymore plants in a room that's had such an infestation.

Tomorrow I'm going to spend the entire day as I did today, upstairs. I'm going to clean everything. Going to pull everything out of both of the room and disinfect everything in them. It's going to take myself and a friend many hours. There is a product called p h y s a n 20, and it is used buy Greenhouse Growers to disinfect and kill plant pathogens. It is safe to use directly on orchids but not on cannabis. So I will spray all hard surfaces with that . Got to try to pull out the big guns. This is a nightmare.

May I suggest getting new fans for your grow room. I can't see how you could wash out the inside of your fans without destroying them. The spores could be hanging out inside the electric motor.

Any of you guys know anything about using ultraviolet light to kill powdery mildew? And reading about it I also read once you can see the white fungus on the leaves it is often too late for treatment because the contamination has gone too far. God I hope that's not true. Anyway, any thoughts or experience using UV lights?

Reading this thread I was thinking maybe UV C will kill the spores, its being used to kill C19 now. UV C kills everything!
As far as heat killing the spores, aint gonna happen! They will burn and live and go right through your smoke and into your lungs/blood. This is why I toss them (I have plenty as well, that makes it easier)
The best cure is preventative measures.
Can we get some pics to see how bad it really is?

Well here's a final question. Onegin the flowering room are the middle of the 7th week on all the pistols have turned brown. I usually wait and do not Harvest this early, but I'm thinking I'm going to go ahead and take them. It does not appear that there is p.m. in the buds yet. What do you guys think? I read somewhere that if I have to harvest early I should cure for longer than usual. Is this a viable idea?

I used h202 to wash my buds after harvest. It worked really well. About 1 cup h202 to 5 gallons of water. Soaked for
3 minutes or so and then dried near a fan till all the water evaporated, then back to normal curing.

Greenpassion Here is the Youtube videos I copied for the bud washing techniques

Powdery mildew is one of the biggest problems growers face each season. Prevention is the best course of action but many times it is simply unavoidable! Luck...

Now the second video the guy adds alot of hydrogen peroxide but i read around and most recommend 1 cup of each so 1 cup hydrogen peroxide 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of lemon juice per 5 gallons of water
