HLG 550 v2 rspec

Hey guys. Anyone with this light?

HLG 550 V2 RSPEC

It works great. I've only had mine up to 50-60%
the tallest cola is 23 inches from the light. The rest are about 32inches from light.
seedlings are about 40 inches.

When is it ok to run my light 100%.?
I have gorilla glue auto on day 73
5x zkittlez auto on day 47
Cream auto on day 13
4x critical purple auto just put seed into soil last night.

So things are a little off schedule from each other, but i would like to get the best output from my girls.

4x4 tent, 18/6 all the time.

put it on 100 for older it wont matter as long u dont burn them see what happens mate older plant i meant

Yeah I'm up to 80% today. Tomorrow I'm push it 90-100%.

You’re growing autos. I’d back it down to 75% and get the light lower if it were me. That lights powerful. Most only go above 80% for 12/12. 18hrs close to full strength is gona beat your plants up

I use a meiju knock-off of this fixture in my 4x4 pheno tent.
I keep it at 20" above the canopy during the entire run.
I run it at 50% power during veg and 100% during flower.
The girls love that fixture.

Ok, I'm trying to hear everyone. I turned it from 75-80% today. I'm keep it there and see how they do for couple days. Heats only 79-81°f on 100% so that's not an issue.
I understand the 18/6 @ 100%. The height from tallest cola is 24in.
so from tops 24-30in @ 80% let's say. 5 autos in early/mid flower, 1 full flower, 1 2weekold baby., 4 not even sprouted (they will be like 45-40in from light, I can also shade them with bigger plants. All autos)
so I'll keep posted about them. Idk if my gorilla glue is getting better. Sugar leaves are being damaged by issues that's not the light, but light might be more harmful for her. Idk.
I thought about harvesting her now just to keep her potency from degrading. Idk

I use electric sky lights which are comparable to HLG and I ran into the same you’re having at first. I posted on here and even emailed electric sky and every response was pretty much the same, everyone said they only crank up the dial for flower. Like gbauto I only run 50% on autos while vegging photos then once the photos move to the flower tent I turn the light up a little but never past the top right corner which is probably 65-75%. One thing that will help is to put something under your shorter plants (small table, blocks of wood,ect) to bring those plant’s up to the same canopy level. Then they’ll all get the same light

i have the same light only not the v2 rspec version. i run it at 100% after 2nd, 3rd week of flower. I grow photos.

I just ordered a HLG 300L V2 B Spec for my Veg room today.

This light definitely makes some dense buds. This one broke off when I was turning the gorilla glue auto.
it was from the bottom outside the plant.
