    hard topsoil

    Good morning โ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒž๐Ÿ˜ƒ
I had just added some guano/bone meal/azomite to my soil and mixed it in and watered per schedule.
Seems now my top soil is extremely hard.
All my plants but 1 (young plant) are doing great.
Im curious about the hard top soil, if it will go away and also
my plants are in fabric pots.
itโ€™s a few week till flower time.
hoping to get this tuned in before then.

    Thank roomies! ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

You might have to extend your veg period in order to repot them in better soil

Guano can harden almost like adobe mud. I would suggest spooning what you can out of it out and mixing with some perlite and natural compost, then reintroduce it to your topsoil.

I have read that young plants may not take to bone meal well and may start to wilt if to much is give. I gave a lot.

Guano has alot of nitro too much and they will grow really odd. There's a balance when making soils, takes some practice knowing the right ingredients to make a fluffy well draining soil. Most folks i know will amend the soil with lots of vermiculite and perlite along with coco coir and dry nitro poo's. While vermiculite may add more water retaining ability it still has alot of " fluff " to the medium.

I didnโ€™t add any of that.
Last grow in soil and just want this one over ๐Ÿ˜‚
            Need to force flower ASAP.
Plants sit at 3 feet and tent is 6 feet tall.

Just not much branching or many cola sights I can notice but it may surprise me and take off. It may be a mediocre harvest ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

They make a liquid to help soften soil. I saw the stuff at the local nursery but I don't remember the name so obviously I don't know if it works or if it will kill your plants. You could try a small pencil size stick or rod push it into the soil then fill the holes with sand or something just to provide some oxygen to the roots. I wouldn't give up trying to improve it. To me it just doesn't make sense not to repot it in better soil it would probably double if not triple your harvest

MeEasy I canโ€™t Depot because my ScRoG is to far in.
I donโ€™t have any bigger containers or soil.
i am maxed on funding with this grow so I gotta make due.

PS I have a broken wrist so Iโ€™m not looking forward to trimming all that bud lol more in this case would not be better.
