Any y’all tried 10/2 photoperiod cycle?

Was wondering if I put my photos on a 10-2-10-2 for a 24 hr cycle would they still stay flowering. If so, then they would be receiving a total of 20 hrs of light in a 24 hr. Period instead of 12 hrs in a 24 hr. Period if on a 12-12 cycle. Any ideas or thoughts?
If you bend you will be less likely to break.

Never tried it and probably never will. Plants evolved on this planet on a specific light schedule and giving it a wacky lighting schedule will only stress it. Why fix what aint broke? I'm sure if it really was a thing that it would be the standard, not the current 18/6 and 12/12. Best to keep it simple. The only exception is ruderalis varieties as they have adapted to not be dependent on a light schedule for flowering.

And yes your plants will probably re-veg if they are photo's and flowering.

Agreed. If that light cycle was found by today’s testers it would be posted or published somewhere. Many people have tried many things since the FIM technique. I’m gonna try it on my vegging plants they would be more resilient to the stress it may cause by breaking the day up.

Cannabis needs 12 hours of continuous darkness indoors to maintain flowering. You can play with the lights on time and give more darkness to save electricity but giving more than 12 hours of light indoors during flower is a recipe for problems.
Failure is an opportunity for improvement!!

I have read about an 8/4/8/4 cycle for mothers to keep them in veg. I have not yet tried it. I find many plants will flower with 14/10s, like almost everything I planted this year. Safe would be 12/12s.
