I grow outdoors in the desert and I have a very hard time growing indica. The buds have yellow or yellow green leaves in the center of the bud or next to the stem. The rest of the bud appears fine fat and sticky but inside nothing but ugly and not mold. If I force sunlight inside the buds the yellow leaves turn brown. I have none of the same problems with sativa strains. What am I doing wrong?

Can you post any images? As my plants mature, it's not uncommon for some of the fan and sugar leaves on the colas will yellow and wither. If the rest of the cola looks healthy I would continue to monitor but it's part of the normal life cycle.WHAT???
5x5 grow space
900w of Vero's and F-strips
4-17gal totes self-made UC system.

I know that I've grown an Indica and a Sativa side-by-side before in a tent, and one weekend it got really hot and dry (105+°F and 20% RH in the grow tent). The Sativa plant didn't seem to mind much at all, but the weather almost killed the Indica plant in just two days. I think Indicas just can't handle the heat as well.
