    HELP! Twisted growth, spotting

Hey everyone. Lately, my plant has been stressed. Twisted new leaf growth, and an odd copper/brown on the lower leaves. Some orange spots on the edges of the fan leaves as well. Growth has been stunted greatly, but she seems to be healthy still. I'm using Miracle Gro soil eith a 300W LED Setup. Light is 18 inches away. I transplanted a week ago so I figured it was shock, but I'm unsure. The ph was relatively low, with my test kit showing yellow (5.5 - 6) everytime I watered. I since then uped it to green/yellow (6.0 - 6.5). I also added Cal-Mag-Iron nutes yesterday as I assumed the to be a calcium or mag deficiency. Can anyone give me some insight on this? She's about a month or so old.

The best thing is to buy a digital PH meter - Then you are 100% sure what your PH is.
How much drainage holes do you have in the pot?
my opinion is it doesnโ€™t look like an mag Deficiency. But you could have some roots problems with the twisted grow - and sometimes it comes from bad watering practices- like overwatering. This is why I ask about your drainage.
You have a bit of clawing also - which could indicate too intense light or to much Nitrogen.
Some of the leaves, too me - looks like a nute burn. Slightly nute burn.
if you add cal mag, follow the plant the next couple of days, if itโ€™s progressing, itโ€™s not a cal mag deficiency.
What kind of nutrients and how much are you giving her ?
also is this an auto or a photo period strain ?

This is a photo I'm sure (Got it out of my bag, not a seed bank). There's about 20-30 drainage holes but honestly I've never seen ANY runoff water. It's a 5-10 gallon pot. I feed her 12-10-5 (garden feed, not water soluble the feed is mixed in the soil) and Humboldts Secret CalMag & Iron (Water administration) I feed her only every other watering. All these problems actually popped up at the same time so it's really overwhelming. I have the urge to apply everything I can to her but I know that won't help.

gbauto glad for youโ€™re second opinion. It doesnโ€™t look like itโ€™s in need of N. But I never heard of this nutrients before. Do they explode randomly?

I use 'nute bomb' as a euphemism for unexpected releases. Having pockets of dry nutes becoming available when you don't want them too is a challenge. That's why I always mix my feed with any water for the plant.

Yes the feed is mixed in. Not powder, more like tiny pebbles. It's the 12-10-5 feed that is mixed into the soil. I only mixed 1 tablespoon of it throughout the 10 gallon pot so I wouldn't think it to be a problem. Now I did transplant maybe a week or so ago. The roots were barely exposed while transplanting so it seemed like a sooth transition. The twisted leaves came about 4 days after transplant, discoloration right after it.
No bugs as far as I can see.

If the twisted leaves donโ€™t get better, like in the next week. Itโ€™s not transplant shock. I still suspect a root problem or a PH issue after your transplant- and a PH issue is a good starter of all sort of problems - like nutrients canโ€™t get absorbed

I just spent some time reading up on root problems. It does seem to display a lot of the same symptoms. I'll water with balanced pH and no nutes for the next week or so. If it does turn to be a root problem, is there any solution ?

Personally I use voodoo juice. It should be able to find a bottle on amazon or something

Also, could you recommend a brand of VooDoo? I'm going to order some today, but there seems to be a lot of different manufacturers and I don't want to pick a low quality producer

Great news - she back to growing! And may I say these new blades look FAR healthier than the previous.

I took your advice and considered root problems to be a big component of my problem. Come to find out, my root zone about an inch down was soaked. Even after 4 days of no water! I decided to carefully remove all soil around the wall of root zone (leaving an inch of soil covering all roots) and began drying the core with my ventilation system on high.
I didn't want to drown the plant more trying to administer cal-mag, so I foliar sprayed for 3 days (lightly before lights out) and waited.
The Cal-mag took effect immediately, and as the root zone dried, she started to perk up and grow quicker every day!
She did go from 7 bladed leaves to 11 bladed right after so that's odd to me but what matters is that she seems to be on a steady recover.
                  Thanks again guys!

New growth looks vibrant, not twisted or contorted. No discoloration aside from what was already damaged
